Guiding Light's new format has NO PROBLEM with shameless self-promotion do they. The cleaning products, and snacks that Revasbrought Jonathan and they named by product. Then Gus' little props to Moonlight the primetime CBS show that he claimed was his favorite. who is home on a Friday night on the soaps to watch primetime TV.
It was sort of neat to see the reference to real products that we are familar with and shows then it was sort of cheesy. - sweetd

Ya' know I didn't even think the camera work was enough to make me dislike or not want to watch, just had to point out there are pros and cons to everything. hI was actually quite surprised at how steady the obvious handheld camera was, say when they were out and about. it was the zooms on the otherwise still shots and close ups that annoyed me the most, like in the nail shop. Still yet it wasn't that bad or too often.
The more i think about it and speak with people about the new show I am looking forward to what is nailbiting storylines and next week's shows ect just to see more of the casual demeanor. - sweetd

Hey Dani,

Thanks for this great reveiw. It's coming from the heart. I liked the music, though. I also loved the realism of being on location. The camera was a little shaky at times because it is a hand held camera. Although they are stabilized, they are not as stable as a camera permanently affixed to a tripod. I do think there will be a bit of a learning curve with this. For me, the lighting needs a little work, but otherwise I totally loved it. Kudos to GL for again taking the lead in recreating the genre.
