I am with you in regard to missing the cancelled soaps and the defunct soap mags. But the good news is, continuing drama is being rekindled in prime time. Dallas is on its way back. Smash is nothing if not a soap. There is Grimm and Once Upon a Time. Revenge, the motha of soaps, IMHO and the newest foray into the genre, ABC's GCB, but that one is not my favorite. - QueenRuler

I have bought and/or subscribed to many soap magazines over the years. I always buy a couple issues before I fly on vacation, that way I have something to read that is lightweight and then I leave it in the airport lounges or airplane seat pockets for someone else to enjoy. I will definitely miss Soap Opera Weekly, as I am missing my cancelled soaps. - CTwildheart
