I was so excited that Sonny and Brenda were finally married this week! I have been waiting for that to happen literally since I was a kid! It was very exciting for me to see Sonny offer forgiveness (that doesn't come easy to a mobster to the love of his life), instead of holding a grudge. :-) I guess there's hope for mobsters everywhere??? Have to tell that to the ones I work with.....
While on the subject of mobsters, I've been getting frustrated that it's taken what feels like FOREVER for everyone in Port Charles to figure out that the only Russian-speaking man who "suddenly" came to town is the Balkan....What? really? They expect me to believe that everyone in the town is THAT slow to put things together??? OK. But good job having Brenda's manager/"friend" being his wife!
I definitely enjoyed the twist that surprised me regarding Brenda/Dante/baby...that he covered for her to pretend to be the father. I LOVED Carly's face looking so smug as Brenda weeped to Sonny, as well as her look of horror/disgust/disbelief as she heard Sonny offer his forgiveness to Brenda....
Got to participate in the live chat with Laura Wright. Very fun, funny lady! Hopefully today I will get a chance to chat with the mobster himself. :-) Cool idea by GH and I'm loving it.
Hope everyone who stops by has a blissful day!
Let's face it....they are much more fun when they are on daytime TV than in real life, people....don't know about you, but I've definitely been there, done that. I have to say that this week, I'm really enjoying the storyline on AMC with Jake/Amanda/Cara. I absolutely LOVE Jake and Amanda and couldn't wait for them to be married. However, my past love of Lindsay Hartley as Theresa (Passions) just won't be extinguished!!!! Trust me....I love a good, hotblooded man with soapstar status. BUT.....having Amanda's feistiness come out toward Cara and the heat she's already starting to show in fighting for her man adds up to H-O-T in my book. I think this story is giving them a little bit of drama to show their acting chops! :-) Can't wait to see more!!!! Anyone else feel the same?
Feels like it's been years....maybe since college even, that I haven't been able to consistently watch my favorite shows. Now, after being home for a few weeks after having surgery, I'm HOOKED!!!! I think I forgot what I was missing. I love the way that soaps can take you out of your own head for a while...it's good to give your mind a mini-vacay......
