Over the past few weeks, Soapdom has recieved tons of correspondence regarding the Rosanna and Paul storyline on As the World Turns. The fans are not happy with the way this storyline is developing. Here is one such letter:
Dear Soapdom,
As the World Turns needs some serious help. The way the Paul/Rosanna/James/Cabot storyline has played out is really frightening. Paul and Rosanna were the best thing to happen to this show in a LONG time, and it seems as if the writers tried to wreck it as soon as possible. Suddenly, this amazing, could-be supercouple has been torn apart in favor of two mediocre non-stories.
First there's Paul and his random friendship with Emily, which makes no sense whatsoever. If something happens romantically with those two, I simply will not endure it. ATWT will certainly lose an extremely loyal fan.
Then there's the Rosanna angle, and while I'm extremely excited to see her again, I think it's awful how she's being portrayed as the victim yet again. I hate that she has to be saved all the time. Let her find her way out of this on her own! Craig is not even competent enough to fix his own life, let alone hers. It's just madness!
Paul needs to stop being so weak and moronic, Rosanna needs to stop letting James walk all over her, and these two need to find their way back together again!
