Noah is isolating himself from friends, family, and even everyday, necessary, daily activities. Sharon is overly concerned but Jack and Nick both agree he needs space to cope with what he has been through this past year. Nick is with Sharon when he gets the call from Neil about the cause of the accident. Jack is at the hospital with Victor. The news breaks with the story and more revealing the owner of the company and man responsible for the entire tragedy at Clear Springs. Victor Newman!
Jack immediately begins to lecture Victor on his culpability, and constant need for revenge on everyone. Victor can’t listen to the accusations, moreover the truth. The thought that he is responsible for Victoria, Noah, and all the others trapped and injured in the accident weighs heavy on Victor. He doesn’t let the mounting guilt show to those around him, who now look at him with disgust and hate. There is nothing anyone can say or do to him that he isn’t thinking himself.
Katherine and Cane have mixed emotions about the news. They are relieved from a business stand point, but horrified for their good friends, Nikki and Victoria. Katherine feels the need to go to the hospital to be with Nikki.
Nikki and JT are the last to learn of the news. They have gone to the loft together, to get personal items for Victoria to make her more comfortable. While packing her quirky little items she likes, Nikki and JT actually smile and feel hopeful. Any positive energy they have deflates when they return to the hospital and are confronted with the awful fact that Victoria’s own father put her where she is today.
Nikki swears she will never forgive Victor. She is so mad that she can barely speak. JT is still digesting the news and doesn’t know how to react just yet. He admires Victor but can he forgive him if Victoria doesn’t recover or something happens to the baby? For now, JT is going to stay by Victoria’s side and talk to her about positive, happy, hopeful things until she wakes up.
Neil does his best to handle the mounting calls from reporters and business clients without any help from Victor. Neil tries to make Victor believe he had no way of predicting what would happen. Victor is a smart man, he knows the only reason he was drilling was to get revenge on Nikki and Jack.
Jack reads blogs with Sharon. It doesn’t look good for the Black Knight and Jack couldn’t be happier. Sharon, on the other hand, feels sorry for Victor. Jack is hopeful that finally the "great" Victor Newman is going to get what he deserves.
Cane learns that the investigation at Clear Springs has now turned into a possible homicide investigation. That isn’t the only legal trouble Victor is going to have. Katherine and Cane plot together to slap every possible lawsuit they can on Victor.
Is this Victor’s final demise or the beginning of a new Victor Newman? There is only one way to find out and that is to read what happens here everyday. And what about that murder investigation? Are Jack and Victor going to become cell mates or at least inmate buddies like Jana and Phyllis before the true murderer is revealed?
