Joshua morrow & Sharon Case (Nick Newman & Sharon Newman- Abbott, young & the Restless)The lights go out, and Genoa City residents find themselves alone in the dark with former loves and enemies. Sharon and Noah are trapped at Nick and Phyllis’ house, while Phyllis is trapped at the Athletic Club. Nick and Sharon make the best of the evening together as friends rather than one time husband and wife. Phyllis is surprised by Brad, and his offering of a truce, but she sees through his ploy. Brad wants something. Brad wants Phyllis to help him finish tearing the tattered relationship between Jack and Sharon apart. Phyllis won’t have any part in it because she hates Brad more than she loves Jack and their friendship.

Nick talks Sharon through her very confused feelings. By the time morning comes, Sharon has another outlook on her relationship with Jack. Sharon and Noah slip out of Nick’s house at daybreak. When she returns home, Jack is met, simply, by the words “We’re back” and an embrace from his wife. The night before, though Jack’s heart was breaking, he was glad to see his sister and have some time alone to talk with her. Jack and Ashley catch up on their lives. Jack comes clean about the letter Gloria has, and his roll in the changing of John’s will.

Ashley is ashamed of the way both of their lives have turned out, despite what John wanted for his children. Ashley tells Jack to give up on his hate for Gloria and give her the money their father wanted his wife to have. Jack resists, but a late night visit from John, who really comes down on Jack for carrying hate towards Gloria around, makes Jack reconsider fighting Gloria in court.

Nikki and Victor find themselves trapped in the house with Victoria. Victor uses the incident to try and win his wife back, but the way he goes about it infuriates Nikki. Victor and Nikki remember the better times they have shared together. Victor offers Nikki a way out from under her bankruptcy. Leave David, and he will forgive the debt. Nikki doesn’t take the offer as Victor intended, she interprets it as Victor once again treating her as if she cannot think for herself. Nikki refuses the offer. Spending the rest of the night in Victoria’s room. Nikki is ignored the next morning when she returns downstairs to find the storm has broken and she is free to go home.
