Jack has done what he had to do. He stepped down from his job. It's not long before Victor and Nikki read that Jack has resigned as CEO of Chancellor Industries.

While on the other side of Genoa City, Sharon is thrilled to learn that Jewel has agreed to perform at Cassie's benefit. But Sharon's other child, namely Noah, lets a horse out on purpose in an attempt to lure Nick back home. Shortly thereafter, Sharon and Nick argue about the fact that Noah is beginning to act out.

At the same time, Michael surprises Lauren by painting the nursery while she is away.

Meanwhile, Ashley visits John in prison and doesn't like what she sees. She notices that his health appears to be declining since his incarceration. So what does Ashley do? She reaches out to none other than Will Bardwell to help her get John an early release from prison.

Later, at the GCAC, it's back to Sharon as Jack confronts her for not telling him about Nick and Phyllis' affair. Speaking of Jack, in a true soaplike turn of events, it looks like his career is not a total loss. Victor steps up and offers Jack a job at N.V.P.
