As the day begins, Adam promises Mary Jane that if she trusts him he will do everything he can to get her back together with Jack. Meanwhile, Heather runs into Rafe at the ranch. Later, Adam is unsettled when he finds Rafe and Heather talking about him.

In the meantime, Gloria is wary of blackmailing Victor anymore but Jeff is sure that they are on the right track where Mary Jane is concerned. Meanwhile, Colleen arrives at the hospital to offer her support and Victor goes off on her until Jack arrives and intercedes with Victor. Later, Victor hires Jeff and Gloria to discredit Colleen. Gloria and Jeff pay

an actor to get Colleen to party with him on camera. Meanwhile, Colleen and Rafe dish about their love lives at Jimmy's, and Colleen tries to get Rafe to reveal to her about his mystery lover. Later, Rafe leaves Colleen at the bar and Aidan, the actor, moves in and offers to buy her a drink.

While on a walk, Zapato gets away from Ashley and sniffs around the Newman potting shed, nearly finding Mary Jane and her stuffed cat. Later, Adam learns from Heather that Mary Jane was responsible for framing Phyllis. Victor tries to assuage Ashley's fear by asking her to marry him, tonight. Later, Ashley agrees to marry Victor and is finally happy for the first time in a long time. Meanwhile, Adam informs Mary Jane that she is going to Victor and Ashley's wedding in Sabrina's blood-stained purple dress.

On the other side of Genoa City, Sharon shows Jack the first sonogram picture of the baby. Jack explains to her that he is going to the hospital to support Nick and Phyllis when they get Summer's MRI results. Sharon wants to be there too. Nick realizes that he needs to make a commitment to Phyllis and Summer one way or the way, all the way. Nick realizes that Sharon's actions of late have been leading up to letting him go so that he can go back to his family that needs him. Sharon realizes what is happening. Nick explains to her that he loves her but that he can't walk away from his family as they say goodbye to one another.

Meanwhile, Phyllis informs Jack that Mary Jane is responsible for everything that has happened to Summer and demands to know who she is and where she came from. Later, the doctor informs Nick, Phyllis, Jack and Sharon that Summer has some brain damage but they should have every reason to hope she will recover.
