Today Cane has reached a new appreciation for his wife. He opens up to Lily and shares a story about his life and the real reason about why he can never go back to Australia. Cane explains that he is a marked man in Australia. However, Lily's strength throughout this ordeal has made him want to be a better man and be honest with her.

As Cane and Lily deal with the cards they have been dealt, Michael learns that Ashley will have to submit to a psychiatric evaluation. As you can imagine, Victor is furious that

Jack was able to get the order in the first place. Victor finally informs Ashley that Jack went to a judge because he wants to have her committed. Hysterical, Ashley calls Jack to come over, wanting to put a stop to all of this herself. But this just makes matters worse. Jack finally sees how truly far gone Ashley is at this point. Meanwhile, Adam assures Ashley that he needs her and he won't let anyone take her away.

Shortly thereafter, Jack calls Sharon to check on her, hoping she will allow him to visit. However, Sharon sticks to her boundaries and asks him to stay away for the time being.

Meanwhile, while discussing Summer's recovery, Nick and Phyllis are approached by a reporter wanting to know how Nick feels about seeing Sharon in a mental hospital. Noah comes to visit Sharon and they both put on a brave face for the other. Phyllis visits Sharon at the hospital. Sharon is sure she is there to catch Nick or to gloat. Later, Nick is hit when Noah explains how much like a prison Sharon's facility is and reminds Nick that he hasn't even been to see her. Phyllis confronts Sharon about the fact that Jack hasn't come to visit her once, demanding to know what is truly going on.
