Soapdom.com is delighted to announce that the Young and the Restless has recently signed Peter Porte for the contract role of “Ricky Williams,” Paul and Isabella’s son. 

Porte is a well-trained actor with a BFA in drama from NYU’s Tisch School and has a long theatre resume, including the Broadway National Tour of ‘Mamma Mia.” 

The epitome of tall, dark and handsome, Porte has also guest starred on

a number of TV series including “CSI: Miami,” “Cold Case” and “Medium.”  

Just what havoc Porte's character, Ricky, will cause in Genoa City remains to be seen.  His first air date is September 13, 2011.  Stay tuned!
