From 1990 through 2007, she starred in 455 episodes, while at times doing double duty on CBS primetime's Diagnosis Murder with co-star Dick van Dyke. The mystery deepens as Melinda (Hewitt) discovers a family secret that has killed before, and may kill again.
Rowell couldn't have had a more positive experience. "The director and crew were wonderful, and I especially loved my role, that of a social worker," she revealed to Soapdom. "The costume designer was the bomb...but who most impressed me was the show's star, Jennifer Love Hewitt, graceful, warm and full of fun."
Along with her guest-starring role in Ghost Whisperer, Rowell is also starring in "Home of the Brave" opposite Samuel L. Jackson, currently airing on "the tube." On May 4th, Simon & Schuster/ATRIA will launch her second book, "SECRETS of a SOAP OPERA DIVA!"
