Congrats to former soap star and Daytime Emmy winner, Tamara Braun (ex Taylor, Days of our Lives; ex Reese, All My Children, ex Carly, GH) for continuing to land plumb guest staring roles on primetime TV.
It was just announced today that Braun will appear in the fifth episode of the new season of Castle.
In the storyline, Castle and Becket (Nathan Fillion -- himself a former soap star from One Life to Live -- and Stana Katic) retreat to the Hamptons for a little romantic rest and relaxation.
But...
Too bad their sojourn is interrupted by the very first ever murder investigation in this part of the Hamptons. Braun's character is Natalia Roosevelt, a sexy bar owner who was seen with the victim prior to the murder.
Braun has also been cast recently as Callie Thorne's aggressive sister on USA Network's Necessary Roughness.
Both of these casting items were released today by The Hollywood Reporter.
Castle returns to the ABC primetime line up Monday, September 24, 2012.
