Vote for Jack & Bobby!

Dear Suds Buds,

As many of you know, my roots in television come from prime time. I worked on Law & Order for the first few seasons.  As you may also know, my husband is currently on the production staff of The WB’s new prime time drama, Jack & Bobby.

Jack & Bobby is a wonderfully different show that focuses on a single mom raising high school boys – one of which is destined to become President of the United States in the year 2040.    The show stars Emmy Award-winner Christine Lahti as Grace McCallister, a former hippee who still indulges in smoking weed as she struggles to raise her boys the only way she knows how -- with intelligence, love, humor, a lot of discussion and tons of passion.

The two kids, Jack and Bobby, played by the utterly adorable Matt Long as Jack, and the equally adorable Logan Lerman as Bobby.  They struggle to make their way through high school, relationships, their brotherly love and sibling rivalry, and dealing with their domineering mother.   Flash fowards to the year 2041 depict talking heads detailing the lives of both men.  Basically the show attempts to look at what it took to make the boys the men they became, especially in regard to the one – Bobby – who becomes President.

It’s a very clever, intelligent, and powerful show. Each week performances get better and stories more heartfelt and intriguing.

Here’s where I need your help.  Jack & Bobby is nominated for a People’s Choice Award.  If you could all follow this link and vote for Jack & Bobby, you could be crucial in helping it win the Award!   Please vote today, and thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Days of our Lives' Eileen Davidson loves playing Kristen

Eileen Davidson of Days of our Lives said that playing the role of Kristen Di Mera is "fun, exuberating, and exhausting", but think about it, what actress would not want to play her?

"I know! The part is so well written that whatever I'm doing I enjoy doing it," Davidson said. "The character of Kristen has I mean... done it all."

Admitting that someday she'd like to see Kristen give birth, but of course she can't have children. "Wild" and "Can't even imagine" is how Davidson described having a baby would be.
