Real Life News for Y&R's Katherine Chancellor

Jeanne Cooper, long time star of television, screen and stage, has agreed to be the international spokesperson for the highly advanced medical data retrieval service, the Tele-FIND Medical Support System (MSS). In addition to endorsing the MSS products, Ms. Cooper will be appearing in advertising and promotional media to get across the message that the control of and rapid access to personal medical records is everyone's constitutional right and can be a life-saving aid in times of health crises.

Best known to millions as the fabulously wealthy Katherine Chancellor on The Young and the Restless, now in its 26th year, Cooper has been honored by Hollywood with her own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. She continues to have the highest TV "Q" rating of any daytime female star. Her loyal viewing audience in the United States alone is well over 10 million people per day, and her international viewing audience in countries around the world bring her total viewership to more than 100 million on a daily basis. Wow that's a lot of eyeballs. 200 million, in fact! Jeanne also appears regularly on the Home Shopping Network out of St. Petersburg, Florida.

Cooper will be involved in the production and airing of infomercials, celebrity public appearances and marketing the Tele-FIND MSS to the shopping channels and other high profile target markets. Ms. Cooper's participation with Tele-FIND is under the terms of a service agreement with Chancellor Enterprises Services Inc., announced previously on August 14, 2000. Under the terms of the agreement, Ms. Cooper's celebrity images will appear on sales and marketing materials, packaging and in advertising media.

Cooper has been an activist for many years in human rights, care for the elderly, animal rights, environmentalism, and as a fundraiser for the Hospital for Sick Children and other worthy causes. "I see my role with Tele-FIND as one of educating people about looking out for their own well-being, especially in an emergency. Anyone with a chronic medical condition or taking medication MUST have a clear and detailed record available to show the doctors so they can act decisively," says Jeanne. "The Tele-FIND MSS service, combined with its communications features, is an exciting breakthrough that I want to be associated with."

"Ms. Cooper's long career in the public eye speaks directly to those people over 40 who are coming to grips with their own health concerns as well as those of their aging parents," observes Mr. Phil Small, President of Tele-FIND Technologies Corp. "Her position as international spokesperson is expected to greatly accelerate the delivery of our mission statement to that group, which comprises over a third of all North Americans, and gives us the opportunity to offer them the Tele-FIND products as solutions to the dangers of limited access to their medical data."

Tele-FIND Technologies Corp. ("Tele-FIND") is a wholly owned subsidiary of NBS.

Days of Our Lives Welcomes New Stars!

Meet Kyle Lowder, Brady Black

Daytime television newcomer, Kyle Lowder, portrays rebellious Brady Black, back from boarding school with an attitude. Lowder was born in St. Louis, Missouri, but his family moved to Pleasantville, NY in Westchester County when Lowder was six years old. Lowder excelled in both athletics and performing arts during his four years at Pleasantville High School. He was quarterback of the Pleasantville Panthers, All NY State in Track & Field in the 800-meter event, and still found time to star in many theatrical productions and participate in the All NY State Choir. Lowder had the honor of competing alongside athletes from all over the world in the International High School Track Championships. "I was really busy in high school," reflects the young actor! No kidding! :o)

During his senior year, Lowder decided that performing arts was truly his passion over sports and was accepted into the prestigious Syracuse University Drama Department. After the first semester of his sophomore year, Lowder flew to Los Angeles to participate in a series of workshops and showcases for actors. The response from agents and managers was overwhelming, so much, in fact, that he decided upon a leave of absence from college to stay in LA to follow his dream. "At first my parents were not that thrilled that I was putting school off for a while," Lowder said. "But after only a few weeks being in Hollywood, I was booking jobs and having great meetings, but most importantly, I was able to support myself. My parents came around!"

Lowder appeared in several national campaigns and runway shows for Abercrombie & Fitch and Speedo before landing the heavily anticipated role of Brady Black. In his spare time, he enjoys working out, going to the beach, and is a self-professed movie buff. Standing 6'1" with blonde hair and blue eyes, he is sure to cause quite a stir in Salem. He celebrates his birthday on August 27th and appears for the first time on Days of Our Lives, Monday, August 21, 2000.

Meet Aaron Van Wagner, Jason

Daytime newcomer Aaron Jeffrey Van Wagner portrays Jason, the bully of Salem High School. Born and raised in Southern California, Van Wagner attended St. Francis High School, an all boys Catholic school, which he reflects "was not that fun to attend, to say the very least!" After graduation, he began modeling and taking acting classes.

Van Wagner appeared in several commercials and print ads before landing the role of Jason on DOOL. He first auditioned for the role of Shawn D, which went to Jason Cook, but was called in a month later for the role of Jason. Jason was only supposed to be around for three episodes, but after six months of appearing on a recurring status, Van Wagner was offered a contract. "I feel very grateful for the opportunity I have been given," he said. "I really enjoy the fan events, especially the sporting ones, and I love taking pictures with the fans!" So get your cameras ready everyone! "I am having the best time of my life," he continued!

Van Wagner loves wake-boarding and snowboarding and is a big car fanatic. In his spare time, he likes to hang out with his buddies, who include co-star Jason Cook, play tennis with his dad, and trek to the beach. He is also into hip hop and alternative music. Van Wagner is most excited by his recent purchase of a 19-ft. Hallett speed boat and is eager to take all of his friends from the show on a water skiing adventure.

Van Wagner is 6' tall with blonde hair and green eyes. Another heartbreaker! He celebrates his birthday on September 4th.
