Korman singing for her supper, "Loyalists" and LOTS more

Hi Suds Buds!

Passions fans be sure to tune into Harmony on Monday, April 17, 2000 to see Lindsay Korman (Theresa) sing a love song to Travis Schuldt (Ethan). The song is called "Kiss Me" and was written by Lindsay. It's a romantic moment all you Theresa and Ethan fans are not going to want to miss. Lindsay called me last Thursday to say how excited she is about Monday's show! And you know me. I had to ask her if she thought that things were looking up for Theresa as far as Ethan was concerned. "Well, you never know," she said with a laugh. "Things could be starting to go Theresa's way!" I don't know about you, but I will certainly tune in. Hearing Lindsay sing is always a pleasure. As it turns out, April 17 is also Lindsay's birthday! I asked if she had any plans to celebrate on the day. "Are you kidding!" she said. "I'll be taping three episodes on Monday, and I work again on Tuesday. So, I will have to do my celebrating the weekend before!" Happy Birthday, Lindsay, and thanks for calling. I've got my fingers crossed for Theresa and Ethan!

Several weeks ago, I received email from Darlene, a poster at TRO and one of the Michael Nader Loyalists. She asked for an address because she had something to send me. Well, imagine my delight when I received a sky blue baseball cap with "The Loyalists" embroidered across the front and a note saying:

"Linda, you are now officially an honorary member of The Loyalists. Please wear our baseball cap with pride and joy. We, as a group, have bonded together so strongly over the past few months, yet we are all so far apart in miles, decided we wanted something that would be a constant reminder of our bond. We chose a baseball hat because, first, we are all avid baseball fans, and second, because 'the man' (Michael Nader) seems to have a penchant for wearing baseball caps. We are sending one to him, as soon as he returns to AMC. We are also sending him an extra hat for his daughter. I'm sure she already knows that she has a great dad, but we want her to know just how many other people think he is pretty great, too. I have a feeling that with his maverick personality, he just might get a kick out of wearing the hat to the studio. Again, thank for your constant support and help. One of the joys of this campaign journey has been the very nice people we have met along the way. From the Loyalists, Becky, Debbie, Michelle, Carole, Marci, Vicki, Laurie, Erin and Darlene."

Imagine how touched I was to receive this wonderful gift, and to be considered an honorary Loyalist! I will wear the hat with pride. Thanks to the techno magic of the internet, Loyalists from all over the country came together for a common cause. That's the really amazing thing about the whole Loyalist Campaign, in my humble opinion. Not only did they persist and ultimately succeed in pushing all the right buttons that got Michael Nader back to Pine Valley, but they have formed some lasting friendships. Thanks guys for making me an honorary member. It's really exciting that Dimitri will soon be back on AMC. I wonder what havoc that will cause in the lives of Alex (Anna?), Edmund and Erica. Time will tell!

Congratulations to the casts of Days of Our Lives and Passions who raised $6,255.50 for the Children of the Night as a result of the softball game on April 1, 2000. They send out a great big thank you to all the LA fans and supporters who came to the game and helped them raise money for this worthy cause!

Days of our Lives True O'Brien loves playing Paige and talks about working with Justin Bieber

As a daytime newcomer, True O'Brien is making her mark as Paige Larson on Days of our Lives. Not only radiantly beautiful, but the character has a quality about her that is immediately relatable to a lot of young people.

"Yes! And what's funny is I can relate to her, too," O'Brien said. "Paige is a lot of fun to play. I can relate to her desire and her wanting to be a serious student, and in the storyline her first love with JJ (Casey Moss). She is someone I'd like to let into my life."
