Solid Gold, solid music gold that is, and the word is cyberspace.  Since music became available online, standard brick and mortar outlets for music sales suffered.  Tower Records, an icon for cool music in the 80's and 90's went out of business in the 2000s.  Starting with Napster and now with ipods, smartphones and services like Spotify and Pandora, who needs to buy a record or cd at the record store, or even online?
