May Sweeps Made Waves on ABC Daytime

Just in case you missed what went down on your favorite ABC Daytime show this past May Sweeps, here's all the sordid details!

Port Charles

Suspicion and yearning desires rocked "Port Charles," as Rebecca continued to coax Alison into reliving the events of her former life, forcing Alison to defend her honor and sanity as she struggled to stay true to her convictions. Lucy and Ian teamed up again, only this time to solve a mysterious disappearance. Meanwhile, Rafe gave into temptation and struck a deal with James that allowed him to return to earth. At the same time, Ed offered James a bargain he could not refuse. But standing in the way was Livvie, hell-bent on a vendetta against Alison and preventing her from ever reuniting with Rafe, leaving Jack and Jamal caught in the middle. While the whole town was turned upside down, the magic candles had a profound impact on Frank and Karen. Ricky and Chris appeared to be the only ones who stood to benefit from the candles' magic charms. Will order ever be restored in "Port Charles?" Stick to PC this summer and find out!

All My Children

On "All My Children," when an intoxicated Bianca got rejected after making advances towards Maggie, she drove off and crashed her car. Bianca survived, but the situation turned into another excuse for Erica to hold Kendall responsible. Shortly thereafter, Erica's plan to get rid of Kendall came to a head. However, when Kendall went to extremes, Ryan came to her rescue. In the meantime, Leo told Vanessa that he and Greenlee got engaged. Vanessa was less than delighted. Trey was on the verge of being exposed to all of PineValley. To avoid it, he went to drastic lengths, putting Mia in more of an uncomfortable position, not to mention Kendall's arrest for the crime. David's genuine love for Anna continued to grow, along with his desire to create a family life, but Vanessa, as always, stood in his way. Hayley noticed Mateo had become a man obsessed on getting revenge. Now that Liza is out of the hospital, will she be able to trust Adam, or will she continue to make her secretive plans? Roger and Simone share an intimate past, but will his feelings for Simone prove to be more than she bargained for? And what about Leo and Greenlee's wedding plans? Will Greenlee's mother Mary really show her face at the wedding? Will Erica rebuild her mansion after the fire?  Will Kendall and Ryan become AMC's next supercouple? Watch All My Children this summer and see!

One Life to Live

First time Emmy Award-winning "One Life to Live" made television history in May 2002 when the 33-year old soap opera aired live from New York, May 13-17. Leading up to this unprecedented week of daytime television, deception, secrets and the past threatened to cause trouble for the citizens of Llanview. In order to keep the truth hidden and save his marriage to Blair, Todd was forced to resort to desperate measures when his son became dangerously ill. Sam was extremely close to discovering Todd's terrible secret and a conversation with Nellie gave Sam the answers he needed. In the meantime, Gabrielle's involvement in keeping Todd's secret jeopardized her growing friendship with Bo until she finally came totally clean. Determined to stay in control over Viki and enjoy her new-found freedom, Niki Smith used her active imagination to plot to get rid of Ben. With Jessica's help, the police were able to get a confession from Allison that she drove Jessica and Seth off of the road. Roxy inadvertently revealed something about her past to Jessica and Jessica learned the shocking truth when she questioned Natalie about her childhood. Carlotta's animosity towards Keri began to grow again, after she made an upsetting discovery, thanks to RJ. But Antonio and Keri weathered the storm. Nora and Troy explored their feelings for each other. Now that Lindsay is finally paying for her crimes against Nora, she found herself face to face with a new enemy in prison. Not one to stay down for long, Lindsay found a way to get to Troy. Al couldn't let Jen and Cristian enjoy their long awaited reunion, even after Max intervened to stop his son from interfering. This all led to Max and Roxy getting hitched, Jessica finding out she had a brother and his moving in with her family, a trip to Central Park and much more, and it was all live on "One Life to Live Live," May 13-17! How much more groundbreaking can OLTL get? Stay tuned this summer and see!

General Hospital

On "GeneralHospital," Sonny remained conflicted between Alexis and Carly, as an unexpected twist -- Carly's being presumed dead -- crystallized his feelings and forced him to make a choice. Speaking of Carly, Zander's feelings for Carly intensified. Meanwhile, AJ and Courtney were married, as each learned unexpected truths about the other, and AJ risked Courtney's love to reclaim his son. AJ's grandfather, Edward, advised him to use Courtney to his advantage. Alan and Monica reached the breaking point again over AJ. They were even further estranged as Rae made a return visit, which Monica did not appreciate. She wanted Alan out of the house! A family tragedy propelled Luke and Laura into a mystery which they are working together to solve. Bobbie and Scott moved closer to romance, but their tumultuous past and volatile present could drive them apart. Roy and Felicia were thrown together on the trail of a mystery and continued to enjoy each other's company. Jax and Skye got closer, trying to build a bond of trust. However, Skye could lose him completely, as she is tempted to return to her old tricks. After her break-up with Lucky, Elizabeth took risks trying to prove her independence, as a guilty Lucky fought his mutual attraction with Elizabeth's sister Sarah. Meanwhile, a secret from Sarah's past had life-altering consequences for all three. Nikolas and Gia tried to rebuild their lives, following Nikolas' estrangement from his brother, Lucky. Their future was in jeopardy from Gia's brother, Taggert, who vowed to make Nikolas pay for his role in Helena's escape. Ned and Kristina reached the brink of a commitment, but Kristina hesitated, concerned that Ned sees her only as a substitute for her sister, Alexis. What's to come now in Port Charles? Stay tuned to GeneralHospital this summer and see!

Passions Welcomes SuperModel/Actor Michael Bergin to Recurring Role

Actor and super-model Michael Bergin joined the cast of NBC's hit daytime drama Passions in the recurring role of Nick Bozman.

"The character of Nick Bozman is a strikingly attractive but very shady man who wants payback from Brian (Antonio) for a score that was long ago unsettled. He arrives on the island of St. Lisa's and becomes integral in the story-line of Brian, Diana and Liz," said Executive Producer, Lisa S. Hesser.

Bergin, who had been modeling for top designers such as Valentino, Hugo Boss and Donna Karan, achieved super-model status when he was hired by Calvin Klein to take over for Mark Wahlberg in Klein's sizzling and sexy underwear ads. Bergin moved from modeling to acting when he was hired to portray lifeguard J.D. Darius on Baywatch: Hawaii, which he did for four years. He recently finished filming The Wolves of Wall Street with Eric Roberts, which is scheduled for release in 2003. Passions marks Bergin's first role in daytime television.

Born on March 19 in Naugatuck, Connecticut, Bergin currently resides in Los Angeles and is passionate about raising his two-year-old son, Jesse.
