Dear Suds Buds,

I am always reminded of an old episode of All My Children during Christmas time. Must have been around 1994 or 1995.  There were scenes at the Chandler Mansion.  Adam was up to his old tricks and someone – Erica?  Tad? – was calling him out in regard to his behavior. The Chandler Mansion appeared in the scene like it always is, tastefully furnished, elegantly appointed, but no sign of Christmas at all.

Cut to Myrtle’s dress shop, or Brooke’s house, or Palmer’s place, for a scene that lasted about two minutes. Literally – two minutes and not a second more.  Cut back to the Chandler Mansion, and low and behold it must have been visited by a bunch of Christmas elves because the mansion is decked to the nines for Christmas!  A gorgeous 16-foot tree decorated in a white theme adorned the main entry hall.  Christmas goodies abounded on every table top.  Insta Christmas, I called it, and oh how I wish those little Insta Christmas elves would visit my house and get me all set for the holiday in such a flash!

So, on that note, I am going to cut this week’s Top of the Week a little short, so that I can get back to publishing the rest of this week’s content and then get my family set to celebrate Christmas!

I leave you with our two Christmas cats, Slinky and Waffles, who immediately made themselves comfortable under our Christmas tree.  Merry Christmas everyone, and to everyone, a good week in Soapdom!

Til the top of next week,
