Dear Suds Buds,

Boo and other Salutations of the season. Do you like my Halloween costume?  Just call me the Great Pumpkin of Soaps this week!

As you know, Soapdom has a special promotion running for the month of October. Any member who upgrades to all access paid subscription for one year at $34.95, gets a free Law & Order game.  The game we are giving away is game two in the series.  The reason we are giving away game two, called Double or Nothing, is to promote the release of game three, Justice is Served.  Check out more on the promotion here:

Law & Order Game Giveaway

Game three -- Law & Order: Justice is Served -- went on sale earlier this month.  And I have a copy.  Let me tell you. These games are so cool!  If you’re the kind who likes to get to the bottom of things, write fan fiction about your favorite soap, or curl up with a good mystery novel, you will love this game. First off, it uses the animated images of the stars of the Law & Order TV series.  You learn of a crime, along with detectives Brisco and Green, and then, you get to solve it with them.   What’s more, you next get to try the case in court along with McCoy.  The voices you hear on the game are the real voices of the actors who play the roles on TV!

As many of you know, I used to work on Law & Order.  I was there the first few seasons. (Did I ever tell you about the time Chris Noth (Logan) pulled a prop gun on me in an effort to get me to hire his brother in my department?  Some time remind me to share that story. Suffice to say, it was all in fun.  Chris Noth is quite the looker – and this was before his stint on Sex and the City.  But here is the clincher. His brother, Michael, is even better looking and taller!  Quite the handsome pair those two.  But I digress...)

So, for someone who used to work on the program and now to have the ability to solve the crime with the detectives and try the case with the lawyers, these Law & Order video games are just too much fun.  And the great news is – if you get the annual all access subscription to Soapdom for $34.95 and also purchase the third Law & Order game (Justice is Served) you will actually get all three games, because hidden in the box for Game three is also a CD of game one!  How cool is that?

Okay, enough on Law & Order. Even though I am so engrossed in daytime television, it’s nice for me to return to my roots in primetime – even if only once in a while!  Speaking of prime time, be sure to check back to Soapdom later this week. We’ll have the sneak preview video clip of the season premiere of The OC, along with a new music video about North Shore. Both The OC and North Shore return to the airwaves on a new night, beginning Thursday, November 4.

Happy Halloween everyone.

Til the top of next week,
