"Dear Editors: I cannot tell how much I enjoyed your scenes last week between Edmund and Brooke! They were witty, clever, sexy. They sizzle and my only complaint is I want to see more! I LOVED it when Edmund said "We survived quicksand before." I also love it that they are going to investigate a story together. I will never forget the "Eduardo" investigation. Each week I await the scenes between these two.
"And if that were not enough, I cannot tell you how great it was to have Erica and Jack onscreen together. I'm glad Jack is going back to the DA's office and, governor? Now that would be fun!! These two have been a favorite with me for so many years. Here's hoping AMC serves up no less than a Jack-Erica-Chris triangle that brings Erica to her senses about the love of her life, Mr. Montgomery, who has been under her nose all these years. It's time Jack and Edmund waltz their ladies down the aisle!
"It is so nice to finally, once again, have a head writer at AMC who knows and actually likes these characters and reminds us how wonderful they are together. Keep up the good work AMC and give us more of Brooke & Edmund, and Jack and Erica. And please, bring Michael Nader back as Dimitri! He is sorely missed." J. Schultz
If you have written to us, but have not gotten a response either by having your letter published here, or a personal response from me, please write again. After a certain amount of time email fades off the in-box out into cyber oblivion. If I didn't have an opportunity to respond before that happens, once that happens, it's too late! So, if you don't hear from us, please give it another try! I do read all the email, but may not have had the opportunity to respond before it scrolls off my in-box. We look forward to hearing from you again. And now, on with the latest in soaps!

SoapNet Re-Airs Port Charles Tainted Love!
If you missed it, and if you are lucky enough to get SoapNet, you're in even more luck! The popular third installment of Port Charles "Book" series, "Tainted Love" will be re-broadcast on SoapNet beginning Tuesday, October 23, 2001!
But why the re-broadcast? "They wanted it? They got it!" declared the press release. In September, SoapNet, ABC Cable Network Group's 24-hour soap opera network, gave viewers the unique opportunity to vote on SoapNet.com for the Port Charles book that they would most like to see again. The overwhelming favorite? "Tainted Love!" Beginning Tuesday, October 23, 2001, SoapNet will replace flashback episodes of Port Charles, currently airing Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at 7 pm ET/4 pm PT, with the complete "Tainted Love" saga.
"The ability to rebroadcast "Tainted Love," the most popular Port Charles book yet, is another example of SoapNet's commitment to its fans," said Deborah Blackwell, general manager of SoapNet. "SoapNet is the only network that has the unique opportunity to offer fans the chance to see favorite soap programming and shows again."
In conjunction with the re-launch of "Tainted Love," SoapNet will present a special installment of its original soap news magazine show, SoapCenter. The episode, premiering Friday, October 19, 2001 will be a behind-the-scenes look at the storylines and stars that made "Tainted Love" the most popular Port Charles book to date.
Port Charles began producing storylines in the faster-paced book storytelling format with the premiere of "Fate." This unique storyline integrated the traditional daytime drama with the highly successful telenovelas to bring viewers intrigue, excitement and surprises every day, every week, every month. "Fate" was so popular with critics and viewers that it was soon followed by another book, "Time in a Bottle." "Tainted Love," the third and most popular book, originally premiered on ABC June 4, 2001.
"Tainted Love" skirts the edge of darkness with a timeless tale of true love fighting against the forces of good and evil. The citizens of Port Charles are galvanized into action when an unstoppable force enraptures them with sweet promises of the future. Jack (Brian Presley), Livvie (Kelly Monaco), Alison (Erin Hershey) and Jamal (Kiko Elsworth) suffer great consequences that propel them to value -- as well as to question -- what is true and real in their lives. In the meantime, Dr. Eve Lambert (Julie Pinson) and Dr. Ian Thornhart (Thorsten Kaye) begin a new life, only to have an accidental discovery threaten to destroy their family. The book begins with an extreme off-road race sequence that will alter the lives of the teens and the town forever, and culminates in a battle of good vs. evil.
