Dear Suds Buds,

Emmy Week has begun and begin it did with a bang on both coasts.  Soapdom was there to bring you all the details from the Creative Craft Emmy Awards.  Ceremonies were held simultaneously in both New York and Los Angeles and daytime’s stars came out in droves to help honor the tireless hard work that goes on behind the scenes to make them look good in front of the camera.

Even before the Creative Craft Awards, Soapdom was out at the party in Los Angeles that honors all the Daytime Emmy nominees. Although mostly the behind the scenes people came out for this event, Soapdom did spot a number of Y&R celebs there to cheer on their own.

For this next week, there are too many events to mention going on in New York City.  But rest assured Soapdom will be at just about all of them and will take you Inside the Bubble with us.  So, stay tuned to Soapdom this week and next for all the latest 32nd Annual Daytime Emmy coverage.

Member Tip: If you miss a Daytime Emmy story on the cover page, fear not. Just find the Daytime Emmys button on the right of the home page (about half-way down). Click on that and then open Emmy 2005.  Or, just go here:

Speaking of soaps (like what else would I speak of in this column? LOL), yours truly is guest starring in the brand new radio soap, Rockland County.  I appear in episode 8 and 9 as the sneaky, cutthroat reporter, Leslie Smithers!  Check out my debut on Rockland County at http://www.rocklandcountysoap.com   Go to the episodes page and listen in on episode 8 and 9.  Or, start at Episode 1 to get all caught up.  Here’s what we know so far -- Arden Morgan  is the murderer!  Oh my.
