Dear Suds Buds,

I don’t know about you, but for me, the summer has literally flown by!  Where did it go?  Not sure, but I do know that Labor Day is around the corner and that means football, back to school and the new fall TV schedule.

This season we are to be treated to a number of new reality shows. Wife Swap (where do they come up with these?), a new twist on The Bachelor (two guys to start), The Apprentice 2, The Contender, and more.  Sitcoms will boast the much heralded Joey, the Friends spin off, and Father of the Pride, animation in prime time from Dreamworks -- to name a few.

But what’s of note for me, among all the usual prime time police dramas (NYPD Blue, Law & Order, L&O SVU, L&O CI, and of course all the CSI’s), there are a few prime time soaps on the schedule.  Desperate Housewives, North Shore, even Jack & Bobby for example, and that’s just scratching the surface.   Looks like soaps are in – even in primetime this year.

Speaking of reality TV, on a personal note, my very own dentist, Dr. Stephen Donia, will be featured as one of the celebrity dentists that helps create the perfect make-over on ABC’s new season of Extreme Make-Over.  Only in LA. LOL

Are you looking forward to this fall’s TV season?  What will you be watching? Let me know on the Soapdom Message Boards in the TV section.

As mentioned last week, I have a few surprises planned as far as site upgrades go, so stay tuned.  One of the features I am considering is e-cards. These would not be soap opera related per se, they would be fun birthday, anniversary, friendship, and holiday e-cards.  If you would like to see this feature at Soapdom, please let me know in the Criticize the Critic message board, or use the contact form to share your thoughts.  Didn't hear from many of you this past week.  Please post and let me know if you'd like to see e-cards at Soapdom and if you think you'd use them.

Til the top of next week,
