Soap Stars Shine Nov. 9-10 at the Disney-MGM Studios During 7th Annual ABC Super Soap Weekend

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. -- An outstanding lineup with more stars than ever before from the ABC Daytime dramas “Port Charles,” “All My Children,” “One Life to Live” and “General Hospital” will appear at the Disney-MGM Studios Nov. 9-10 for the seventh annual ABC Super Soap Weekend, presented by Colgate Total. “All My Children” star Susan Lucci headlines the lineup of 35 daytime celebrities scheduled to appear at the weekend celebration.
Meredith Vieira, moderator of ABC Daytime’s “The View” and host of the new weekday version of “Who Wants To Be A Millionaire,” also will join the fun for the weekend. Vieira will host “Who Wants To Be A Millionaire-Play It!” -- the theme park attraction based on the popular game show. This exclusive Super Soap Weekend edition of the game teams a variety of popular ABC Daytime stars as they compete to win prizes for contestants in the show’s famous “hot seat.”
Throughout the weekend, fans will have the opportunity to meet favorite stars from the four ABC Daytime dramas. In addition to the game show, festivities include celebrity motorcades, autograph sessions, interview sessions and the chance to purchase one-of-a-kind memorabilia from all four shows. Stars scheduled to appear:
- “Port Charles”: Kiko Ellsworth, Brian Gaskill, Erin Hershey Presley, Thorsten Kaye, Kelly Monaco and Brian Presley.
- “All My Children”: Rebecca Budig, John Callahan, Vincent Irizarry, Eva La Rue, Susan Lucci, Alicia Minshew, Sam Page, Jack Scalia and Aiden Turner.
- “One Life To Live”: Kristen Alderson, Kamar de los Reyes, James DePaiva, Kassie DePaiva, David Fumero, Catherine Hickland, Ilene Kristen, Hillary B. Smith and Ty Treadway.
- “General Hospital”: Chad Brannon, Tamara Braun, Steve Burton, Robin Christopher, John Ingle, Wally Kurth, Vanessa Marcil and Coltin Scott
Linda Dano, who plays Rae Cummings on all four ABC Daytime soaps, will once again be the guest host of the “ABC Super Soap Talk Show.” Walt Willey (“All My Children”) returns as the master of ceremonies for the Hollywood-style motorcades and star conversations. Willey also will emcee the Colgate Total Street Jam, a special concert planned for both evenings featuring musical performances by several stars.
ABC Super Soap Weekend is included in the regular theme park admission at the Disney-MGM Studios -- where guests of all ages are caught up in the glitz, glamour and excitement of show business.
