Telemundo Star Maria Celeste Arraras Will Appear as Herself in 2 Thanksgiving Episodes of Passions!
NBC and Telemundo networks today announced that award-winning journalist Maria Celeste Arraras, one of the most popular Spanish-language television news personalities and anchor of "Al Rojo Vivo con Maria Celeste," will make a guest appearance on NBC's daytime drama "Passions" on Wednesday, Nov. 27 and Friday, Nov. 29.
Arraras, who joined the Telemundo in April 2002, is playing herself in the
daytime NBC series. She will be performing as a longtime friend of Pilar

In addition to anchoring "Al Rojo Vivo con Maria Celeste," Arraras also serves as managing editor for the one-hour news magazine, which airs Monday-Friday (5 p.m. ET). "Al Rojo Vivo" is a news program with an edge that delivers the hottest news stories daily.
"It's a very exciting challenge because, even though I play myself, the part
involves acting, which is something very different from what I do on camera
every day," says Arraras. "I'm also proud to be part of a U.S. Hispanic celebration of Thanksgiving in such a highly rated soap opera."
Since its debut last April, Telemundo's "Al Rojo Vivo con Maria Celeste" has
captured the audience in U.S. by storm. The show is No. 1 in New York, beating all English and Spanish programs that air in the time slot.
