THE STARS OF NBC DAYTIME RETURN TO CMA’S FAN FAIR
FOR THIRD CONSECUTIVE YEAR

“World’s Biggest Country Music Festival” To Be The Largest East Coast Fan Event for NBC Daytime Stars in 2003

NASHVILLE - NBC Daytime and the Country Music Association are continuing their successful partnership for the third consecutive year at CMA’s Fan Fairâ 2003. For the first time, Fan Fair will serve as NBC Daytime’s largest East Coast fan event for the year. Stars from NBC’s hit daytime dramas “Days of our Lives” and “Passions” will travel from Los Angeles to Nashville to participate in the “World’s Biggest Country Music Festival™,” held June 5-8 in Downtown Nashville.

A dozen of NBC Daytime’s hottest stars are scheduled to appear including fan favorites Kristian Alfonso (“Hope”), Peter Reckell  (“Bo”), Kyle Lowder (“Brady”), Alison Sweeney (“Sami”), Bryan Dattilo (“Lucas”) and Arianne Zuker (“Nicole”) from “Days of Our Lives” and Galen Gering (“Luis”), Lindsay Korman (“Theresa”), McKenzie Westmore (“Sheridan”), Eric Martsolf (“Ethan”), Jesse Metcalfe (“Jesse”), Justin Hartley (“Fox”) and Deanna Wright (“Kay”) from “Passions.” Each of the stars will take part in the numerous activities surrounding Fan Fair. They will sign autographs in the Wrangler® Exhibit Hall at the Nashville Convention Center and make selected appearances at the concerts held at both the Greased Lightning™ Riverfront Park Stages and The Coliseum. The stars will top off the weekend with special musical performances at the highly-anticipated third annual “NBC Daytime Fan Fair After Hours Party” at the Wildhorse Saloon Saturday, June 7 (separate ticket required).

“For the past two years, we’ve received such an overwhelmingly warm welcome from the Country Music fans and the artists that we couldn’t wait to return to Fan Fair again,” said Sheraton Kalouria, Senior Vice President, NBC Daytime.  “We look forward to a long-term successful partnership with the CMA and increasing our involvement in this wonderful event.”

“The NBC Daytime stars really add a lot to this unique event and we are very happy to have them back,” said CMA Executive Director Ed Benson.  (QUOTE COULD CHANGE)

“The union of Fan Fair with NBC Daytime is a perfect fit for everyone,” said CMA Senior Director of Strategic Marketing Rick Murray. “The fans love having access to their favorite soap stars and the Country artists love hosting the actors. Over the years, several friendships between artists and actors have developed; and in fact, several of the daytime stars have made return visits to Nashville or visited artists backstage at concerts in Los Angeles. The team effort put forth by NBC Daytime has been seamless with Fan Fair event organizers and we are looking forward to more advance promotions and new elements to introduce on site at Fan Fair.”
