Disney-MGM Studios at Walt Disney World Resort Hosts 8th Annual SuperSoap Weekend, November 8-9, 2003
 
More than 30 ABC Daytime stars, including hosts Linda Dano, Catherine Hickland and Walt Willey, will appear with a stellar list of actors from "All My Children," "One Life to Live" and "General Hospital" at the eighth annual ABC Super Soap Weekend at Disney-MGM Studios presented by Colgate(r) Total(r), November 8-9 at Walt Disney World Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Fla. The star-studded event will be headlined by "All My Children" star Susan Lucci.

In addition to Lucci, "All My Children" stars scheduled to appear are castmates Rebecca Budig, Tomy Dunster, Michael Jordan, Michael E. Knight, Eva La Rue, Cameron Mathison, Alicia Minshew, Eden Riegel, Aiden Turner and Jacob Young.

From "One Life to Live," fans will see Melissa Archer, Kathy Brier, Kamar de los Reyes, Kassie De Paiva, Michael Easton, Dan Gauthier, Hillary B. Smith and Trevor St. John.

"General Hospital" stars appearing will be Chad Brannon, Scott Clifton, Tyler Christopher, Nancy Lee Grahn, Rick Hearst, Wally Kurth, Natalia Livingston, Kelly Monaco, Ingo Rademacher, Greg Vaughan and Alicia Leigh Willis.

 

 

Catherine Hickland (Lindsay, OLTL)Linda Dano, who plays "Rae Cummings" on "One Life to Live," will once again take on the hosting duties of the "ABC Super Soap Talk Show," as Walt Willey ("All My Children") returns to host the Colgate(r) Total(r) Street Jam. Willey will also host "Casting Call," an event new to this weekend in which fans get an opportunity to "audition" in front of a live audience to do a scene with an ABC Daytime star. Additionally, "One Life to Live's" Catherine Hickland debuts as the mistress of ceremonies for the celebrity motorcades and star conversations.

Throughout the weekend, fans will have the opportunity to meet favorite stars from the three ABC Daytime dramas. Festivities include celebrity motorcades, autograph sessions, game shows, interviews and the chance to purchase one-of-a-kind memorabilia from all three ABC Daytime dramas. The event also features live musical performances by cast members.

"Soap Talk," SOAPnet's Daytime Emmy-nominated daily talk show hosted by Lisa Rinna and Ty Treadway, will tape four shows during ABC's Super Soap Weekend on Saturday, November 8.

The Colgate(r) Total(r) toothpaste sponsorship includes a national sweepstakes, awarding trips to the action-packed ABC Super Soap Weekend. A sweepstakes ran on ABC Daytime in July, 2003, and four lucky winners were chosen to attend this year's festivities.

ABC Super Soap Weekend is included in the regular theme park admission at Disney-MGM Studios - where guests of all ages are caught up in the glitz, glamour and excitement of show business.

ABC.com will host the ABC Super Soap Weekend website. Special features on the site include a photo gallery of all the exciting, star-studded events, a schedule of events for the entire weekend -- which includes where all of the actors will be in the theme park -- an interactive map of Disney-MGM Studios and more. The site will also provide information on vacation packages for the weekend.
