Play ball! It was the turn of the century, the year Y2K. Back in 2000, NBC still had two soaps on the air. Days of our Lives and Passions.

For fun and games, both soap operas faced off against each other in a softball game in Burbank, CA. You'll see some who have remained all these years, like Galen Gering (Luis, Passions), Nadjia Bjorlin (Chole, Days of our Lives) and James Hyde (Sam, Passions). Passions Lindsay Hartley (Theresa) -- she was Lindsay Korman back then -- belts out the National Anthem for your pleasure.

But the real rare gems are the quips from the likes of former Passions stars Jesse Metclafe (ex Miguel); Dalton James (ex Hank); Bruce Michael Hall (ex Reese); and, Travis Schuldt (ex Ethan).

Plus, remember Days of our Lives' Princess Greta? We've got Julianne Moore, and the ever popular Austin Peck (ex Austin, Days of our Lives; Brad, As the World Turns).

Speaking of which, turn back the clock to February 2000 and let's "Play Ball!"

All My Children's Bobby Steggert shines in "Big fish'

Wonderful to see soap stars branching out and doing musicals and appearing on stage. For Bobby Steggert, (Ex-Sam Grey of All My Children), he is not only brilliantly dazzling, but totally lights up the stage starring as Will in "Big Fish" the musical in Chicago thru May 5th.

The show is not only rich in story, but the sets, music, lighting, and the cast just illuminates. Tony Award winner, Norbert Leo Buts stars as Edward Bloom, Tony nominee Kate Baldwin, as Sandra Bloom, and Tony nominee, Bobby Steggert as son, Will.
