Farley Granger (ex Earl Mitchell, As the World Turns), now 81, has written his memoirs, titled “Include Me Out,” co-authored by ex ATWT executive producer, Bob Calhoun. The men are celebrating 45 years of "being together." One of Hollywood's most handsome leading men, Granger's sexual preferences went both ways, with quite the A-List of Hollywood starlets notched to his bedpost. On As the World Turns, his character, Earl, was married to Lisa and it is reported that he also dated Eileen Fulton in real life. According to the reviewer for Variety, "I just want to recommend Farley's life story. He tells it in the most unaffected manner and states right up front -- 'I have loved men and I have loved women.' (And, wow, the names of the women will stagger you.) Farley, who made many excellent films ('Senso' for example) and appeared in some terrific plays, says, when asked if he considers himself gay or bi-sexual? 'I'm too old to worry about that.' This book has class. It makes some points. It's a 'celebrity' story that is truly worth your while. And, of course, even at 81, Farley Granger is still beautiful." Contributed by LMS

It's all for a good cause, but ow, their aching butts. On March 14th, EXTRA the televison news magazine show sponsored a fashion show for charity. Carmen Electra wore a gorgeous blue chiffoney floor length gown that must have had a tad too much train to be manageable. She tripped and fell. Days of our Lives Alison Sweeney (Sami) was the next "model" up and came running from backstage to help Electra. But she fell, too! They brushed themselves off, stood up and took it like the performers they are. In fact, Sweeney composed herself immediately and sashayed down the run way to model the beautiful mauve floor-lengh gown that she was wearing. See the video. Contributed by LMS

Soapdom is delighted to confirm that Scott Bryce is back on As the World Turns in the role of Craig Montomery. Bryce originated the role in 1982 and played it on and off until 1994. He returns to the part of Margo and Katie's brother, replacing Jeffrey Meek who held the role since late 2005. In a statement, ATWT's executive producer Christopher Goutman said: "We are excited to have Scott Bryce back on As The World Turns. He brings with him an invaluable understanding of Craig and the character's rich history." According to the PGP Classic Soaps Blog, Bryce's history with the soap includes Craig's marriage to Betsy (then-Meg Ryan; Bryce made such a splash as soap groom that he took his act to primetime, marrying Jo on The Facts of Life, and Corky on Murphy Brown), his kidnapping of "their" daughter, Danielle, his hitting of teen Dusty with his car, arson, theft, blackmail, an affair with Lucinda, and redemption after falling in love with revolutionary Sierra and fathering Bryant and Lucy. Meeks last airs on April 1. Watch for Bryce to begin airing on April 10, 2007. Contributed by CL
While over in Pine Valley, Soapdom is hearing that veteran scribe, Meghan McTavish is out at All My Children as head writer. She's been on and off AMC since I've been in the biz which is 1995 or thereabouts. She actually started on AMC in 1992 and stayed until 1995, then back again in 1997 to 1999. Rumored to have a bit of a drinking problem back in the day, McTavish bounced from ABC daytime soap to soap, doing a stint on General Hospital and One Life to Live, before returning to AMC in 2003. Somewhere in between, she wrote for Guiding Light, but get this. Did you know that McTavish actually started in the daytime business as an actress? Yup. She played Lola Fontaine on Guiding Light from 1983-1984. We have no details yet on who will be replacing McTavish as AMC's head writer. That info will be released shortly. Stay tuned.
