Josh Duhamel (ex Leo, All My Children), star of Las Vegas and this summer's new mega movie, Transformers, has just sold his home in the affluent Brentwood section of Los Angeles. According to the Sunday, Los Angeles Times, the three bedroom, 2,500 square foot home was listed because the actor wanted "larger quarters." Duhamel lived in this beautiful contemporary-style home for 2 and 1/2 years. It's got skylights and a wall of glass facing the ocean. There are canyon, city, mountain and pool views. And speaking of the pool, it's one of those infinity pools. Tres gorgeous. Built in 1956, the house had been updated. The living room boasts a black and white theme and there is a dramatic backyard with a spa and the aforementioned infinity pool. But here's the cool part. Most of the renovations and landscaping were done by Duhamel himself. Growing up in North Dakota, he learned some things about carpentry and making improvements to homes and he put his expertise to good use on this property. The home was listed at $2.5 million and with multiple offers, Duhamel got close to asking. Romantically, Duhamel has been linked with music star Fergie of the Black Eyed Peas. They met when she guest-starred with the Black Eyed Peas on Las Vegas. See Duhamel fight the machine in the Michael Bay directed, Steven Speilberg produced, Transformers, opening June 27th at a theater near you! Contributed by LMS

What do soap opera stars Cameron Mathison and Susan Lucci (All My Children), Martha Byrne, Alexandra Chando and Kelley Menighan Hensley (As The World Turns) and Nancy Lee Grahn (General Hospital) all have in common? They all support charities who have been selected by Window View Publications as “World Champions: 25 Charities That Make Our Home a Better Place to Live.” Cameron Mathison, Martha Byrne and Alexandra Chando proudly support Love Our Children USA, Susan Lucci proudly supports RAINN, Kelley Menighan Hensley proudly supports the March of Dimes and Nancy Lee Grahn proudly supports A Breath Away From the Cure. Window View Publications has published a book entitled “World Champions: 25 Charities That Make Our Home a Better Place to Live,” a thirty-two page hard cover coffee table book that features the missions, pictures, and heartwarming stories of 25 charities, and the impact they have on society. To celebrate the good work of these charities and the soap stars who support them and their great work, Window View Publications has created a limited-time promotion where over 25% of the gross sales will benefit the charities. Between June 1, 2007 and September 30, 2007, over 25% from each gross sale is given to the charities. 5% goes to the charity of one’s choice from those in the book, an additional 20% is reserved for the charity with the most votes, and an additional 2¢ is donated to each charity in the book, in an effort to give each charity one’s “Two Cents.” Anyone can vote for free on the project web site (www.25Charities.com ). However, by purchasing the book, it grants the buyer the equivalent of 100 votes, giving the charity with the most books bought the probability of receiving the designated 20% of gross sales from all books during the promotion dates. ATWT's Ashley Marie Greiner (Faith Synder) filmed an episode of the new FX series "Damages." The new episodic series with a 13 eppy pickup by the cabler has a top notch cast starring Glenn Close, Tate Donovan, Rose Bryne and Ted Danson. Greiner posted on her personal blog about the new gig: "I play Mr. Danson’s daughter, Bethie Frobisher, in the show. I’m in only one episode so far, but the series was picked up for 13 episodes this season. I’m hoping that they involve Mr. Danson’s character’s family more in future episodes. At any rate, it was a blast filming with such a well known actor, and I hope you’ll tune in to Damages this summer. I will post more when I know when my episode will be on." She invites us all to check out the trailer for "Damages." "It totally rocks!" "Damages" premieres July 24 at 10 PM on FX. Contributed by CL & LMS
