In some where are they now Buzz, Nathan Fillion, who starred on One Life to Live as Joey Buchanan (#4) from 1994 to 1997, has just landed the lead role in an new drama series for the Fox Network called "Drive."  Produced by 20th Century Fox, Fillion plays the character of Alex Tully, a charming landscaper, who is a bit of a rogue. When his wife is abducted, he is coerced into joining the race to find her.  Here's what's of interest.  The original pilot for the series starred Ivan Sergei.  Apparently, Fillion has been approached to do the pilot last spring, but was busy filming "White Noise 2: The Light," slated for release January 5, 2007. "I was a little disappointed because Tim is a friend, and there is nothing better than working with people you know and like," Fillion told the Hollywood Reporter. As he is personal friends with Tim, one of the executive producers, they approached him again this summer, showed him the pilot, and he was smitten.  "I was so excited about it," Fillion said of his first reaction to the tape. "He has some really talented actors lined up in it, and it's exciting to get to meet them and work with them." Meantime, poor Ivan Sergei.  Contributed by LMS
