Kristen Alderson (Starr, OLTL)ABC Daytime and SOAPnet's Soap Nation tour, in conjunction with WPVI-TV, bring "One Life to Live's" Kristen & Eddie Alderson and "All My Children's" Stephanie Gatschet to the  6ABC Philadelphia Thanksgiving Day parade on Thursday November 25th airing live from 8am to noon. Along with riding on
a parade float, Kristen Alderson will be singing "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree"and co-hosting a few segments of the parade. The 6ABC/IKEA Thanksgiving Day Parade is Philadelphia's highest-rated local television event. Produced in its entirety by 6ABC, the ABC-owned station (#1 in the region), is the longest-running Thanksgiving Day Parade in the nation.For more information on the parade, click here.

Barnabus Collins will ride again!  The quirky vampire-driven soap opera of the 1960's, Dark Shadows, will make a big screen debut with none other than Johnny Depp playing the vampire, Collins.  It's pegged to be very outlandish, too, with Tim Burton directing. Stay tuned!

Days of our Lives fans -- here's a heads up! There will be no Days airing Wednesday, November 3rd.  We just got word from our peeps on the show as follows:  "Due to NBC News providing converge of the Presidential News Conference which is scheduled for 1:00PM to approximately 2:00PM ET, all feeds of Days of Our Lives are pre-empted 11/3/10."  

Michael E. Knight (Tad, AMC)Peace Over Violence honored ABC's "All My Children" for their 40 plus years of progressive storylines and being outspoken advocates on social issues relating to domestic and sexual violence at the organization's 40th year anniversary gala on October 29, 2010 at the Beverly Hills Hotel. Show creator, Agnes Nixon received the award on the show's behalf. Michael E. Knight, who has portrayed "All My Children's" Tad Martin presented the award to Agnes Nixon. Nixon also created ABC's daytime drama, "One Life to Live," and has two series on ABC that have aired Monday-Friday for over 40 years.


Matt FloridaMatthew Florida (ex-Ford Decker, Days of our Lives) will bring his versatility as an actor to prime time once again when he stars as the guest-lead in CSI Miami on Nov.7th (check listings). Florida will play Zachary Rittner. A character from the metro New York area.  Florida recently joked with Soapdom (see article) saying, “I had to brush up on my Jersey accent. You know…I’m from Texas. But I love practicing and brushing up on different accents.” The episode is titled “Reality Kills” When a reality star is murdered, The CSI’s investigate the cast, the obsessed fans, and the stars’ hidden pasts to find the killer.  Florida will be in many scenes with Eva LaRue (Natalia: ex-Maria Santos, All My Children).

Young and the Restless' Lauralee Bell (Christine, Y&R) returns to the cyber screen as the new season of Family Dinner premiers November 15.
