Soapdom's Mark Edward Wilows enjoyed the 35th Annual Daytime Emmys broadcast, "but I still used to like Radio City Music Hall," he said. "I was so thrilled forJeanne Cooper. I phoned her this morning, and sent some congrats balloons with chocolates. I asked her about Lee (Phillip Bell), but she said that Lee just came for a bit and left.  I also enjoyed the video on Soapnet, which I kept logging in. Loved the Days women. Nadia, Alison, and Arianne looked FABULOUS. What a dress? I was also proud for Jennifer Landon."  Contributed by LMS

Rebecca Budig (Greenlee, All My Children)While in some ABC Daytime Buzz, when the character of All My Children's Greenlee changed faces and went from being played by actress, Sabine Singh, back to Rebecca Budig (the actress who originated the role), ABC's promotional campaign heralding the return of Budig was rather off putting to say the least. The campaign harped that the "Real Greenlee" was returning in the form of Budig. It irritated many AMC fans. If Budig was the real Greenlee, what was Singh? Chopped liver? Soapdom passed that message on to the powers that be at ABC daytime, both to the publicity department and to the marketing department.  Soapdom's Linda Marshall-Smith suggested to them that perhaps a better way to couch the return without totally belittling Singh in the process would have been to say "the original Greenlee" returns.  That would have given the return of Budig the hype it deserved, without negating the work of Singh in the role.  Soapdom is now delighted to report that ABC Daytime's new promos announcing that Marty Saybrooke and Tina Lord have returned to One Life to Live portrayed by the actresses who originated those roles (Susan Haskell and Andrea Evans) is using the word "original" in the campaign. "The original Marty and the original Tina return!"  Who said the powers that be don't take heed?  Contributed by VS

What the Tuck? There's already a hitch in those fantastic One Life to Live 40th anniversary plans I revealed earlier this week. Fan fave Jessica Tuck, who was supposed to be seen in a Heaven sequence as her late, great character Megan, had to bow out of the gig yesterday due to a scheduling conflict. (Souces say the conflict is High School Musical 3, but I have no confirmation of that).  This is not just a big disappointment for us Tuck-anistas, it's a big headache for the show because her appearance was no mere cameo. OLTL head writer Ron Carlivati had wanted Megan to serve as a celestial guide for her mama Viki (Erika Slezak), who will visit the Great Beyond after dying in a car crash — a major two-day plot twist (airing July 21-22) that riffs on one of the soap's most famous stories from the 1980s. The scenes shoot this coming Monday. The clock is ticking. What to do? Carlivati, who is quite the brain-stormer, quickly picked a different dead Megan to be Viki's guide — that would be Megan's namesake (and Viki's granddaughter), baby Megan, who died by miscarriage in 1999 when her mom, Jessica, was the victim of a hit-and-run. Back then, Jessica was played by another fan sensation, the much-missed Erin Torpey — and that's who's gonna come back to the show and play baby Megan in Heaven! Granted, it's a little weird, but it's certainly a creative way to solve a casting crisis! Contributed by Michael Logan

Jeanne Cooper (Katherine, Young and the Restless)Young and the Restless' Jeanne Cooper (Katherine), who's nominated in the category of Best Actress at the upcoming Daytime Emmy Awards, tells Buzz that even though she's looking forward to the Emmy's, focusing on the world problems is more important. "Look! We have the war, the bad economy, global problems, people are loosing homes, gas prices are out of control. I really believe we need to look into these matters," Cooper said. "To spend $5000 on a piece of cloth (gown) for the show, just doesn't make sense." Cooper has been nominated for an Emmy about a dozen times and added that winning would be nice, saying, "If I win I think many people should be shocked."  Cooper welcomes the competition, especially Michelle Stafford (Phyllis, Y&R). "I think Michelle is a consummate professional, as are the others, and may the best gal win." Cooper also said the Emmy's are now all about show. She preffered the Emmy's 15 years ago, saying, "I really think the awards were more intimate, the lunch setting was wonderful. And it was fun to go to New York and do the town. Here in LA it's just what everyone is wearing. Just ask someone who won two years ago, and they don't remember." Contributed by MEW

Eden Riegel (Bianca, All My Children)All My Children's Eden Riegel (Bianca) recently sat down with Bambi Weavil of Out Impact to talk about the impact of her work and her latest project, a web series called “Imaginary Bitches.” “Imaginary Bitches” is a 13-episode series that Riegel stars in and produces. “It’s a fresher, edgier ‘Sex and the City,’” said Riegel. “It’s about a girl and her girlfriends, but all of them are in serious relationships and she’s single, and feels left out. And so she sort of deals with this situation by making up imaginary friends to talk to who unfortunately turn out to be serious bitches.” (“Imaginary Bitches” can be seen at and its official homepage at .) In the interview, Riegel talks about how Jack Black and Michael Cera influenced her decision to create the web series, who her favorite bitches are, and who her dream guest stars would be in the webisodes and how theatre and daytime television are similar.  She also discussed the role of Bianca, a pioneer character for television, daytime or otherwise. Riegel shares her insight on fan reaction to the character and her lovers, how it influenced others' coming-out process and whether we will ever see Riegel, with or without Bianca, on “All My Children” again. If you're not familiar with Out Impact, it was established in May 2007 and is growing to become a leading gay omnimedia company for both gay men and women with a strong focus on making a positive impact within the gay community. Out Impact reminds everyone to support nonprofit causes in their daily lives and to make their own impact. It attracts a hip audience of gay and gay-friendly men and women, driven to make a positive difference, to always give back, to live life to the fullest and to have fun. Contributed by LMS
