Jeanne Cooper (Katherine, Y&R)Lee Philip Bell with husband, the late Bill Bell Two of daytime TV's Grand Dames Lee Phillip-Bell, co creator (with husband, the late Bill Bell) of Young and Restless , and Jeanne Cooper (Katherine) of Young and Restless, chatted with buzz on celebrating the holidays and spending time with their families. "Oh you bet. Every year it's tradition to go to Aspen. It gets you in the mood," Bell said. We love to go where there is snow and a Christmas atmosphere." Bell added that her holiday highlight is also shopping for her grandchildren (all eight of them), and being with her little poodle, Joy, the love of her life. Cooper will be throwing her traditional Christmas Eve dinner with all the trimmings at her Hollywood home, which she is currently decorating to be a glow. "It's special and beautiful. I will have the big Christmas Eve buffet like Katherine would have," Cooper jokes. "I will cater, because lets face it! It's easier. But we will have a grand time." Cooper's children and grandchildren arrive in the evening for what is sure to be a magical night. Cooper added that this year there is no vacation. "Oh no! We work every day on the show. We are only off Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, and the same for New Year's," Cooper said. "It really cut into a lot of travel plans the folks were planning, but business needs to be done." Cooper will get away for her annual Las Vegas tradition of ringing in the New Year with friends in Las Vegas. "I've been doing this for years. You know...there's no better place than Vegas to ring in the New Year." Contributed by MEW

Eileen Fulton (Lisa, As the World Turns)Eileen Fulton (Lisa) of As The World Turns had a wonderful chat with buzz and said that she is looking forward to the holidays, but will not decorate. Why? "You must be kidding!  I recently moved, and am in the midst of a major renovation," Fulton said. "Let's just say, that I have half of a kitchen." Adding that she sold her fashionable Park Avenue apartment because an offer she received was just "too good to pass up." However, the new place is just spectacluar.  Fulton beams,"I can see North, South, East, and West. I have the Empire State Building out of my window and the East River." Fulton hopes to have the whole place finished by Valantine's Day. Beside keeping busy with the soap, Fulton is performing her Cabaret act around the big apple, singing to sold out crowds. Fulton wants to wish all her fans a joyous holiday.  Read this great review of Eileen Fulton's cabaret show Contributed by MEW

Brandon Beemer & Nadia Bjorlin (Shawn & Chole, Days of our Lives) with Tom KennedyDays of our Lives Nadia Bjorlin (Chole), Brandon Beemer (Shawn) and former Days star Patrika Darbo (ex Nancy) came out in full force last week for a scary little solstice at Citizen Smith, a hot hang out in Hollywood. It was a book party and signing for "The Twelve," by screenwriter/filmmaker, Tom Kennedy.  Everyone who attended got a copy of the scary novel as well as a cookie version of the cover of the book, designed by cookiesbydesign.com .  ”The Twelve” involves the killing of Beverly Hills billionaires and is written in a suspenseful, Stephenkingesque style -- an accolade bestowed by Kirkus Reviews.  “I don’t think any billionaires were killed at this party,” laughed Bjorlin, “and I certainly recognized a few!”  The official website for "The Twelve" is: www.thetwelvenovel.com Contributed by LMS

All My Children Fans heads up.  Greenlee's getting a make over in the form of Rebecca Budig who originated the role in 1999. She returns January 16.  See AMC Casting for more.  Not only that, Jesse and Angie return as well. According to ABC:  "Back in the '80s, Debbi Morgan and Darnell Williams became All My Children all stars as Angie Baxter and Jesse Hubbard. Jesse and Angie's journey began in 1982, when these two met as teenagers. We watched as they fell in love, married, began heroic careers--he was a cop, she was a doctor--and raised their adorable son, Frankie. The loyalty of AMC's viewership eventually made Debbi and Darnell daytime's first African American supercouple. Sadly, their unforgettable romance ended in tragedy when poor Jesse was shot and killed in the line of duty.  Spoiler alert!  Also starting January 18, Angie and Jesse's story continues. Angie comes home to Pine Valley to consult on a mysterious medical case. Her patient is someone AMC fans know very well. Along the way, we'll see an incredible reunion occur. But Jesse's dead... isn't he?"  Contributed by LMS

Things are tough in Oakdale.  Cady McClain (Rosanna, As the World Turns) shares her feelings about her last day taping on set. She also confirms that Grayson McCouch (Dusty) is gone, as it was also his last day taping.  On a bittersweet note, she explains how he was given a cake and he made a little farewell speech. She, on the other hand, only a recurring player, was not afforded either a cake or the opportunity to speak.  She also shares that half of the floor crew was likewise let go.  Check out McClain's latest blog ... In more As the World Turns Buzz, next Friday's episode of As the World Turns (airing December 21, 2007) is sure to be an amazing experience.  Go back in time with the denizens of Oakdale as their stories are told from the perspective of 100 year-old dolls.  Where did the Costume Designer, Margarita Delgado, find such old clothes?  Surprisingly, much was salvaged from the costume warehouse at ATWT.  "We had some things here that have been around for a long time," Delgado told SOD. "They were probably bought 40 years ago. This show has been around for a long time. The nicer pieces have been saved throughout the years and some pieces are really falling apart. So we just cut off the sleeves from one of those." Contributed by LMS

He came to me to have a talk about the business," Reynolds said. "I was honest. I told him that in your personal life, you will give up some of your social life. I told him that you will loose some of your friends, and you need a real sense of dedication to this business." How is Brandon doing? Soapdom is happy to report, "Oh just fine." Contributed by MEW

Cady McClain (Rosanna, As the World Turns)Cady McClain (soon to be ex Rosanna, As the World Turns; ex Dixie, All My Children) discusses the state of writing soaps in her most recent blog.   Interestingly, she hits on a number of topics regarding where soaps are missing the boat and they are very similar comments to what fans have been saying for many a day.   Now that McClain is soon to be off As the World Turns, will she return to All My Children?  In today's episode of AMC, Tad was reminiscing quite a bit about Dix and their connection.  Even their famous Christmas star was mentioned.  Will the powers that be at AMC grab McClain back now that she is available again?  Remember, they are the ones who wrote her off in the first place and Tad does seem to be doing just fine without her.  Only time will tell.  Stay tuned.   Contributed by CL & LMS

Her beauty, her charm, and her bubbly personality, not to mention how she lights up a room, Molly Burnett (Melanie, Days of our Lives) is back and she says the best is yet to come.

"Yes! The best is definitely yet to come. Keep watching," she jokingly said. "I really love what I do, and I do it for the fans. After all they are the people that are watching."

Fans of the show will remember Burnett from her four-year stint on the show, but now, after a two year absence, she is ready to take on Salem once again and is thrilled about being back.
