Eden Riegel (Bianca, All My Children) (c) Soapdom/LMSAs just reported, the cast members of the serial dramas, All My Children and One Life to Live participated in a photo shoot on the east coast to create new gallery head shots for all the stars. After all, it's been a few years since ABC Daytime did any new photography, so we at Soapdom couldn't be more delighted to soon be getting new photos of everyone to share with you!

But the recent photo shoot also let a few other cats out of the bag! While many cast members had previously been announced by The Online Network, a few previously unannounced actors were on hand for the photo shoot as well, confirming their participation in the series.

And stand back, soap fans. You'll be hearing a lot of new names here, and if you've got your soap speculation cap on, you'll see that many of these newcomers are young actors. Meaning -- we could be seeing plenty of SORAS (soap opera rapid aging syndrome), or maybe, just maybe, we may return to Pine Valley and Llanview several years later. Meaning -- kids could be older, like teens or 20-somethings. Oh and you'll also be seeing some new character names as well! You heard it here first!

But we won't keep you in suspense any longer.

The Online Network confirmed today the following All My Children cast members: Newcomers Sal Stowers as Cassandra Foster, Eric Nelson as AJ Chandler, Denyse Tontz as Miranda Montgomery, Jordan Lane Price as Celia Fitzgerald, Ryan Bittle as JR Chandler, and Heather Roop as Jane McIntyre. Plus, fan favorites Eden Riegel as Bianca Montgomery, Cady McClain as Dixie Cooney, Ray MacDonnell as Dr. Joe Martin, David Canary as Adam Chandler, and Francesca James as Evelyn Johnson. (Yup, that's the same Francesca James who also was executive producer once upon a time!)

Previously announced All My Children cast members include: Darnell Williams as Jesse Hubbard, Debbi Morgan as Dr. Angela Hubbard, Vincent Irizarry as Dr. David Hayward, Lindsay Hartley as Cara Martin, Jordi Vilasuso as Griffin Castillo, Jill Larson as Opal Cortlandt, and Thorsten Kaye as Zach Slater.

For you One Life to Live fans, The Online Network confirmed today the following new cast members: Robert Gorrie as Matthew Buchanan and Laura Harrier as Destiny Evans.

Previously announced One Life to Live cast members include: Erika Slezak as Victoria Lord Buchanan, Robin Strasser as Dorian Lord, Tuc Watkins as David Vickers, Robert S. Woods as Bo Buchanan, Kassie DePaiva as Blair Cramer, Jerry verDorn as Clint Buchanan, Florencia Lozano as Tea Delgado, Melissa Archer as Natalie Buchanan Banks, Hillary B. Smith as Nora Buchanan, Kelley Missal as Danielle Manning, Josh Kelly as Cutter Wentworth, and Andrew Trischitta as Jack Manning. Recurring actors include: Sean Ringgold as Shaun Evans, Shenaz Treasury as Rama Patel, and Nick Choksi as Vimal Patel.

Days of our Lives makes history with first gay male wedding

The big day finally has come! Days of our Lives made history, and it was no April fools joke. The show is known for its long standing reputation for having storylines that are firsts, or tackling controversial subjects, or going out on a limb. I mean who can forget being possessed by the devil? Well! The show just aired the first gay male wedding making the first such event in daytime television.

The story was handled impeccably, and done tastefully. The same sex relationship has been moving slowing through trials and tribulations for the last several years.

First there was the acknowledging who you are. Then the accepting, and finally the coming out. And now the jubilant wedding of the duo known as WilSon. Will Horton (Guy Wilson) and Sonny Kiriakis (Freddie Smith) is taking the relationship into orbit, or like the old original Star Trek show said, 'to go where no man has gone before,' at least not on a daytime drama.
