Travel back in time to the Spring and Summer of 1995. Y2K was five years away and we were getting ready to party like it was 1999.
But the situation was not so hunky dory in Salem. The evil and dark forces had their way with Marlena. She wrecked havoc with everyone and anything that crossed her path. And now, thanks to SOAPNet, you can revisit the popular storyline when the devil possessed Marlena on Days of our Lives.
On October 28th, celebrate Halloween with one of the most devilish storylines in daytime drama when SOAPnet premieres its Halloween special “The Devil Made Me Do It” on Sunday, October 28 at 9 PM – midnight ET/PT. Re-live the shock, horror and excitement as the beloved character Dr. Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) becomes a possessed evil doer on “Days of our Lives.”
During the three hour special, SOAPnet will revisit the pivotal episodes that have marked Marlena as the doting doctor who becomes the object of Salem’s own witch hunt. The episodes will highlight her evil behavior that included setting a church on fire, morphing into a powerful panther and levitating.
The “Marlena’s Possession” Episodes Include:
9PM – Kristen is on to Marlena who morphs into a panther and also has Shawn attacked by a swarm of bees. (Episode #1995-7528, original airdate 5/12/95)
10PM – After her loved ones see Marlena levitate and then interact with her as the devil, it’s decided an exorcism is needed. (Episode #1995-7531, original airdate 5/17/95)
11AM – With her friends and family thinking Marlena’s dead, John fights the devil for her soul and brings her back. (Episode #1995-7570, original airdate 7/18/95)
