Nick is the son of the Darling’s former consigliere. Though he’d vowed not to follow in his father’s footsteps, Nick decides to work for the Darlings thinking that he can use the big salary as their chief counsel to help others - but quickly finds the job to be more than he bargained for.
The cast includes Peter Krause as Nick George; Donald Sutherland as the powerful family patriarch Tripp Darling; William Baldwin as Patrick Darling, the NY Attorney General; Natalie Zea as eldest daughter and thrice-married Karen Darling; Glenn Fitzgerald as Reverend Brian Darling who’s loathed Nick most of his life but now needs his help; Zoe McLellan as Lisa George; Samaire Armstrong and Seth Gabel as twins Juliet and Jeremy Darling; with Blair Underwood as the mysterious mogul Simon Elder, the Darling family nemesis; and Jill Clayburgh as Letitia Darling.
