Soap Stars Come out For Aids Walk Awareness

Jason Thompson (Patrick, General Hospital)In an effort to raise money and awareness for AIDS Walk Los Angeles 2007 POZ magazine’s team will be hosting a fund-raiser: Love Out Loud at The Abbey in West Hollywood on October 18, 2007 from 5:45 to 9:00, three days prior to the walk. Joining the publishers of POZ and Real Health in this much anticipated experience in West Hollywood is Entertainment AIDS Alliance—a beacon within the fundraising and artistic community—along with artists from daytime and primetime television, music and film coming out to lend a hand.

AIDS Walk Awareness Fundraiser FlyerThis important event will feature: Ilene Kristen, of One Life to Live, always the first to step up for fundraisers on either coast, who will be performing; Kimberly McCullough, who plays television’s only HIV+ character, Dr Robin Scorpio, and her costar Jason Thompson of General Hospital (Patrick) will be there to meet, greet and encourage those who come out in support; Jackie Zeman, of General Hospital,  no stranger to good causes, will join her fellow cast members;  Ashley Jones of The Bold and the Beautiful, a frequent volunteer for City of Hope and Jeff Jenest of Playboy and Entertainment AIDS Alliance from POZ’s June cover story will take the stage to raise awareness as well as funds.

The following stars from General Hospital and General Hospital Night Shift will join Kimberly McCullough (Robin) and Jason Thompson (Patrick):  Bradford Anderson (Spinelli, GH), Sonya Eddy (Epiphany, GH & GHNS), Kent King (Lainey, GH & GHNS), Dominic Ranies (Leo, GHNS),Nazanin Boniadi (Leyla, GH & GHNS), Graham Shiels (Cody, GHNS), Danny Arroyo (Pablo, GHNS), Minae Noji (Kelly Lee), Angel Wainwright (Regina, GHNS) and Ron Melendez (Dr. Andy, GHNS).
