Susan Lucci (Erica, AMC)Last week the call went out for the ultimate soap opera fans to visit Oprah.com and apply to be on the Oprah show. Did the call for the ultimate fans go out in conjunction with this Wednesday's episode of the Oprah show? Maybe, maybe not. One thing is certain, soap fans are going to be treated to a soaptacular Oprah program on Wednesday, February 9, 2011.

As HARPO PR shares, "from the wedding of super couple Luke and Laura -- and Erica Kane and her numerous husbands -- to the iconic Mrs. Chancellor, the Oprah show brings together some of daytime's biggest stars for a celebration of the legendary soap stars audiences love. Daytime icons Susan Lucci (Erica, All My Children), Anthony Geary (Luke, General Hospital), and Genie Francis (Laura, General Hospital), Darnell Williams (Jesse, All My Children) and Debbi Morgan (Angie, All My Children), Michael E. Knight (Tad, All My Children) and Jeanne Cooper (Katherine, Young and the Restless) join Oprah for the hour."

All well and great. But the biggest surprise is that for the first time, Susan Lucci is reunited with all eight of her "All My Children" husbands right there on Oprah's stage. Don't miss it.

Past Blast

Days of our Lives' Bill and Susan Hayes reflect and look forward to the 50th

For Bill Hayes and Susan Seaforth Hayes (Doug and Julie) of Days of our Lives, the upcoming 50th anniversary of the show means many fond and special moments along with memories, and a walk that takes them down memory lane.

When you hear the names Bill and Susan, or their characters Doug and Julie, the first thing that pops into one's mind is "Television Royalty." They are icons and not to mention that back in 1976 they were so hot that both of them made the cover of Time Magazine. The first time daytime actors ever to appear on the cover.
