McKenzie Westmore (Sheridan, Passions)Universal Media Studios And Premiere Props Partner To Host Sale At CBS Radford Lot on April 5th & April 6th

Passions fans, heads up. Your favorite soap may soon be coming to an end, but you may not be totally left out in the cold.  NBC Universal Television DVD, Music and Consumer Products Group in partnership with Premiere Props, are holding a two-day public estate sale of several thousands items from the daytime drama "Passions.”

A wide variety of set decorations, clothing, furniture, glassware and household items from Universal Media Studios' daytime series "Passions," which will end its 9-year run this August on DIRECTV’s original entertainment channel, The 101, will be made available to the public. The sale is taking place at the CBS Radford studio lot in Studio City, CA on Saturday April 5th and Sunday April 6th from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. PST.

This marks the first collaboration between Universal Media Studios and Premiere Props. A portion of the proceeds from the estate sale will benefit the Entertainment Industry Foundation, one of the leading charitable organizations of the entertainment industry, harnessing the collective power of the entrainment industry to raise awareness and funds for critical health, educational and social issues to make a positive impact in local communities and throughout the nation.

"We are excited to offer the fans of 'Passions' an opportunity to own a piece of their favorite show," says Stacey Ward, Director, NBC Universal Television DVD, Music and Consumer Products Group. "At the same time, we look forward to working with Premiere Props on this event, as well as other opportunities in the future."

“We are delighted to partner with and continue to build a relationship with Universal Media Studios, while offering fans of this iconic show the chance to own a piece of history,” said Dan Levin, Vice President of Marketing for Premiere Props. “’Passions’ has such a strong fan-base and we are happy to be able to give them the chance to own a piece of the show.”

“Passions” was the first scripted drama series to join The 101 original program lineup on DIRECTV, which includes viewer favorites like “Rock & A Hard Place,” “Supreme Court of Comedy,” “SXSW Live” and “Championship Gaming Series.” “Passions,” which broadcasts three one-hour episodes per week, will end its run on The 101 in August 2008.

"Passions" is produced by Universal Media Studios and is taped in Studio City, California. The show was created by James E. Reilly and Lisa de Cazotte is the Executive Producer.  It taped it's final episode Friday, March 28, 2008.
