Corbin Bleu (Jeffrey King, One Life to Live)One Life to Live has landed a very cool dude.  He is none other than Corbin Bleu, best known to audiences for his role as Chad Danforth in the popular Disney film franchise, "High School Musical."

The Online Network (TOLN) announced today that Bleu will join the cast of One Life to Live set to debut on Monday, April 29. His character is Jeffrey King, friend of Matthew Buchanan (Robert Gorrie) and Danielle Manning (Kelley Missal), a brilliant young reporter who moves to Llanview to work for publisher, Victoria Lord (Erica Slezak) at Llanview's newspaper, The Banner.

As a new reporter on The Banner, what secrets of Llanview will he uncover?  We will have to tune in to see.

Bleu is no stranger to acting, modeling and dancing.  He starred in the Emmy-award winning Disney Channel Original Movie "High School Musical" and its sequel, "High School Musical 2" alongside Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens, and Ashley Tisdale.  Bleu then reprised his role as 'Chad' in "High School Musical 3: Senior Year" on the big screen. Bleu's first leading film role was in Bart Freundlich's "Catch That Kid," opposite Kristen Stewart and Max Thieriot. Other film credits include Paul W.S. Anderson's "Soldier," Dean Parisot's "Galaxy Quest," Kinka Usher's "Mystery Men" and William Dear's "Free Style," which Bleu also produced.

Bleu can next be seen in "Nurse 3-D" which will be released by Lionsgate Films later this year. Most recently Bleu starred on Broadway as 'Jesus' in a revival of Broadway musical "Godspell." This was his second leading role on Broadway following his rave-reviewed performance as Bodega owner Usnavi in the critically acclaimed musical, "In The Heights."

But Bleu started in commercials and doing print work when he was a toddler, following in the footsteps of his dad, David Reivers.

"We are absolutely thrilled to have Corbin Bleu join the remarkable cast of One Life to Live. Corbin is multi-talented and we look forward to seeing this dynamic character unfold," said Jeff Kwatinetz, Chairman and CEO of Prospect Park, the LA-based production company behind The Online Network.

On the small screen, Bleu starred in the smash hit Disney Channel Original Movie "Jump In!". Bleu's other television credits include the Discovery Kids/NBC series "Flight 29 Down," "The Beautiful Life," "Blue Bloods," "The Good Wife," "Hannah Montana," "ER," "The Amanda Show," "Cover Me" and "Malcolm & Eddie."

Previously announced "One Life to Live" cast members include: Melissa Archer (Natalie Buchanan Banks), Kassie DePaiva (Blair Cramer), Robert Gorrie (Matthew Buchanan), Laura Harrier (Destiny Evans), Roger Howarth (Todd Manning), Josh Kelly (Cutter Wentworth), Florencia Lozano (Tea Delgado), Kelley Missal (Danielle Manning), Erika Slezak (Victoria Lord), Hillary B. Past Blast

Days of our Lives blows into the Windy City

Days of our Lives stars put their hands (literally) in the dirt at the annual Flower and Garden Show at Chicago's famous Navy Pier.

Bryan Dattilo (Lucas) and Matthew Ashford (Jack) were potting flowers. Deidre Hall (Marlena) was talking about her heirloom tomatoes, and then came the meet and greet with the fans, who were lined up by the hundreds on a beautiful sunny day in the Windy City.

Each purchased the sensational book "Days of our Lives:45 years- A Celebration in Photos," which the stars autographed. The book is often referred to as the "coffee table book."
