In this week's installment of ABC Daytime's new series, "What If," called "Learning to Fly," "General Hospital's" Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and "One Life to Live's" Rex Balsom (John-Paul Lavoisier) debate the pros and cons of young love, while suddenly faced with their own mortality. The eighth installment in the series, the new episode airs the week of August 16th on ABC.com and SOAPnet.com.

As everyone already knows, the "What If" series answers the question, "What would happen if two characters from different soaps ran into each other and what would they say?" In the 10-part series, viewers will see well-known characters from "All My Children," "One Life to Live" and "General Hospital" interact with one another, and will be privy to their conversations. The webisodes will be derivative of the characters and their unique past, but are not related to current storyline. "One Life to Live's" executive producer, Frank Valentini, directed the series.
