Tony Geary, Genie FrancisAlina Adams, author of the New York Times-best-selling "As The World Turns" and "Guiding Light" tie-in novels, "Oakdale Confidential," "The Man From Oakdale," and "Jonathan's Story," has a new project and she needs your help! Let her tell you about it...

"My newest project is: Soap Opera 451: A Time Capsule of Daytime Drama's Greatest Moments.

I am asking soap opera producers, directors, writers, actors and fans: Which one moment from the past seventy-five years of broadcasting would you pick to demonstrate daytime drama at the very top of its game?

The finished book will be an electronic app, with the clips embedded right in the text, so that you can read about the scene, then immediately watch it on your computer/iPhone/iPad, etc... (Complete details about the project at: http://tinyurl.com/TopSoapMoments)

Would you be so kind as to let your readers know about the project? I would like to get as much diverse fan input as possible before I compile the finals of my list and go to the actors/writers/producers involved for comments about how it came to be.

Thank you in advance.

With much appreciation -

Alina Adams"

Okay all you soap opera fans. You know you have your favorite moments. Luke and Laura's wedding on General Hospital? Luke and Noah's first kiss on As the World Turns? Marlena being the Salem Stalker on Days of our Lives? Katherine's face lift surgery on Young and the Restless? Barnabas Collins and Angelique on Dark Shadows?

One of Soapdom's favorite moments has got to be Susan Lucci winning the Daytime Emmy in 1999 after being nominated 19 times for her role as Erica Kane on All My Children. "The streak is broken," Y&R's Shemar Moore bellowed from the podium as he announced Lucci's win!

Let Alina Adams know your favorite moments. Find out how at http://tinyurl.com/TopSoapMoments

Past Blast

Days of our Lives Molly Burnett had no doubts on returning

Her beauty, her charm, and her bubbly personality, not to mention how she lights up a room, Molly Burnett (Melanie, Days of our Lives) is back and she says the best is yet to come.

"Yes! The best is definitely yet to come. Keep watching," she jokingly said. "I really love what I do, and I do it for the fans. After all they are the people that are watching."

Fans of the show will remember Burnett from her four-year stint on the show, but now, after a two year absence, she is ready to take on Salem once again and is thrilled about being back.
