Is Lisa Rinna returning to Days of our Lives?

Lisa Rinna (Billie, Days of our Lives) (c)Kathy HutchinsThat's what we want to know.

Fan favorite, Lisa Rinna, who played the character of Bille Reed on Days of our Lives from 1993 to1995 and then again from 2002 to 2005 could be in talks to reprise her role in Salem.

The Huffington Post reported today that Days of our Lives is serious about pulling out all the stops to get ratings for its soap -- something Soapdom well knows and is one hundred percent behind -- and bringing Rinna back is falling directly in line with that. According to HuffPo's Naughty But Nice Rob, the powers that be at Days are going to be pulling a James Franco-type storyline that features Rinna and Billie Reed.  The actual storyline is being held tightly under wraps.

It certainly would be fun to see Rinna back in Salem.  After she left the last time she co-hosted the SOAPnet talk show, SoapTalk, with Ty Treadway (ex Colin, One Life to Live), and more recently did a stint on The Celebrity Appretice -- 12 episodes to be exact, before Donald Trump "fired" her.

Soapdom is not confirming this intel at this time, but we thought it was such great news we wanted to share it with you, even as we do our due diligence to get to the bottom of the story -- is it rumor or fact?

Do you want to see Bille Reed back on Days?

Stay tuned.

Past Blast

Days of our Lives' Blake Berris enjoys being "twisted!"

As the "twisted" character of Nick Fallon on Days of our Lives, one never knows what to expect, or what is lurking in that "deep thoughts" look. But for Emmy nominated Blake Berris, playing the role is fun, and he loves the challenge of not knowing what is up next.

"I have to tell you...I love this character. The writers' have done a great job resurrecting him," Berris said. The character gets more interesting and more bizarre each episode, and I love it that way."

Berris admitted that when he picks up the script, he is always excited in seeing just what old Nick is up to. He is a member of the Horton clan, son to Jessica and Joshua Fallon. He surfaced a few years ago all grown up and as a shady dark guy terrorizing poor Melanie (Molly Burnett). He was carted off to prison and is now back.
