All My Children, General Hospital and One Life to Live will air original episodes.


As The World Turns, The Bold and the Beautiful, Guiding Light and The Young and the Restless will offer original, holiday-themed episodes featuring special surpises and holiday delights.


DOOL and Passions will air original episodes.

Thursday, December 25, 2003


AMC, GH and OLTL will be pre-empted.


ATWT, B&B, GL and Y&R will be pre-empted.


DOOL and Passions will air Christmas-themed episodes.

Wednesday, December 31, 2003


AMC, GH and OLTL will air original episodes.


ATWT and GL will be pre-empted.  Original episodes of B&B and Y&R will be broadcast at their regularly scheduled times, except for the West Coast, where B&B will be pre-empted (this episode will air the following day) and Y&R will be broadcast 10:00 AM-11:00 AM, PT.


DOOL and Passions will air orignal episodes

Thursday, January 1, 2004


 AMC, GH and OLTL will be pre-empted.


Original episodes of ATWT, B&B and GL will be broadcast in their usual time periods. Additionally, the previous day's episode of B&B will be broadcast on the West Coast 10:30-11:00 AM.


DOOL and Passions will be pre-empted.


On New Year’s Day, take a break from all the bowl games with SOAPnet’s “Serial Bowl!”  Dueling Dynasty Divas Alexis and Krystle Carrington face-off shoulder pad-to-shoulder pad during a marathon of “Dynasty” episodes featuring six-hours of the series’ best confrontations and cat fights.  To add to the fun, “Dynasty” creator Esther Shapiro will give the play-by-play using “SOAPnotes” offering exclusive behind-the-scenes information about each episode.  “SOAPnotes” are informative bubbles that appear on screen to aid in identifying characters, families and storylines so that anyone, even the most casual soap watcher, will know exactly what is going on.  SOAPnet’s “Serial Bowl” airs Thursday, January 1, 1:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m, ET/PT and immediately repeats from 7:00 p.m. – 1:00 a.m., ET/PT.

When I heard (on Soapdom) that As the World Turns is being cancelled, all I can say is that my afternoons will never be the same. I come before you to reveal that when I heard the news, it was like my world suddenly stopped turning. In fact, you can say, it crashed.

Not only as a writer/reporter have I done stories on the show and its stars, but I also have been an avid watcher and fan for more years than I care to admit. I've visited the set, met and interviewed many of the stars, and can truly say that
