Scheduled to air June 27 and 30, 2003

This just in from General Hospital...
In a further attempt to promote awareness in the fight against Breast Cancer, General Hospital takes Emily's story to a real life forum.  On Friday, June 27 and Monday, June 30, 2003, Emily (Natalia Livingston) will attend a breast caner support group that features three, real-life breast cancer survivors.

Soapdom is pleased to be among the first to introduce you to Janine McMillion who was diagnosed with breast cancer at age 29; Mary Petersen, diagnosed with the disease at age 33; and, Shannon Cole, who was diagnosed just last year at 35 years old and is currently undergoing chemotherapy.  In fact, she had a chemotherapy treatment just two days prior to taping her scenes at General Hospital!  How’s that for courage, strength and stamina!

These three courageous women will tell their personal stories of strength and survival in their own words.  This support group will lead the way for a turning point for the character of Emily.  Be sure to tune in to General Hospital for these poignant episodes.

Soapdom applauds GH in its continued efforts to raise awareness and hope in regard to the fight against breast cancer.
