James Nighbor (Jake) (c) ABCJust when you thought we'd shared all the Sneak Peeks and Fresh Peeks for General Hopsital for this week, we have saved what could be the best for last. Hold on to your remotes, GH fans.

In tune with what ABC Daytime is calling a "must watch week on General Hospital," beginning Thursday, March 17th (St. Patrick's Day no less) the town of Port Charles will see a tragedy unfold like never before. Just as Elizabeth (Rebecca  Herbst) learns the truth about Adien's paternity, her other son Jake (James Nighbor) (biologically by Jason, raised by Lucky) is at risk. As she hangs out in her living room, shuffling through the mail and calling for Jake, she becomes concerned when he doesn't respond. She looks up from the mail to see the front door ajar. It turns out that Jake wanders off with major consequences. As Elizabeth rushes to the open door and watches helpless in horror, Jake is hit by a car and immediately taken to General Hospital for urgent care. Will he live or will he die?

You know that we can't spill all the beans, but we can share this. One way or another, a miracle will happen.

Plus, who was responsible? Everyone from Sam (Kelly Monaco), Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Brenda (Vanessa Marcil Giovinazzo), Robin (Kimberly McCullough), Luke (Tony Geary), Lisa (Brianna Brown), Theo (Daniel Benzali) or Carly (Laura Wright) could be guilty. Be sure to tune in to General Hospital starting Thursday, March 17th to see it all play out.

Steve Burton (Jason), Kelly Monaco (Sam), James Nighbor (Jake) (c) ABC

Days of our Lives makes history with first gay male wedding

The big day finally has come! Days of our Lives made history, and it was no April fools joke. The show is known for its long standing reputation for having storylines that are firsts, or tackling controversial subjects, or going out on a limb. I mean who can forget being possessed by the devil? Well! The show just aired the first gay male wedding making the first such event in daytime television.

The story was handled impeccably, and done tastefully. The same sex relationship has been moving slowing through trials and tribulations for the last several years.

First there was the acknowledging who you are. Then the accepting, and finally the coming out. And now the jubilant wedding of the duo known as WilSon. Will Horton (Guy Wilson) and Sonny Kiriakis (Freddie Smith) is taking the relationship into orbit, or like the old original Star Trek show said, 'to go where no man has gone before,' at least not on a daytime drama.
