From the creators of the long-running hit series “Unsolved Mysteries,” comes the original LIFETIME Television limited-run series “Secret Lives,” hosted by popular daytime soap star Kristian Alfonso.  The series features true stories of people who lead double lives or have a secret past.  Alfonso guides viewers through each story, one more unbelievable than the next, all told through interviews and re-creations.  The new series airs Monday through Friday, August 11-15, 8-9 PM (ET/PT) on LIFETIME Television. 

“‘Secret Lives’ is a natural extension of the successful franchise ‘Unsolved Mysteries,’” said Bill Brand, Senior Vice President, Reality Programming.  “This new series is a unique take on what happens when people lead a double life.  What is most intriguing is that the people involved could easily be your friends, neighbors, even parents,” he added.

“Secret Lives,” a new limited-run series profiling shocking, true stories of people leading double lives, will delve into a variety of fascinating escapades including:

Kristian Alfonso is most well known for her role on “Days of our Lives” where she has played Hope Williams Brady since 1983.  Throughout her career, she has won three Soap Opera Digest Awards.  In 1984, she was named “Outstanding Female Newcomer,” in 1999, she was named “Hottest Female Star” and in 2002, Kristian and her co-star Peter Reckell, were named “Favorite Couple.” 

Kristian began modeling at the age of 15 and started acting shortly afterwards. At 16, she starred opposite Rock Hudson in the NBC movie “Starmaker.”  She has also been seen on the primetime series “Falcon Crest” and “Melrose Place.”

“Secret Lives” is produced by Cosgrove/Meurer Productions for LIFETIME Television and executive produced by John Cosgrove and Terry Meurer.
