Alison Sweeney (Sami, Days of our Lives)If you're wondering why Alison Sweeney (Sami, Days of our Lives) was not at the 39th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards this past Saturday, it's because she wanted to play some football! Say what? Yup!

She wasn't alone. Former NBC soap star, Jesse Metcalf (Miguel, Passions and now heating up TNT as Christopher Ewing on the new Dallas) also tossed the pigskin around this past weekend. 

This past Friday and Saturday, June 22 and 23, any more celebrities and former NFL greats flocked to Chicago for the annual Madden NFL 13 Pigskin Pro-Am. The events included a kick-off party on Friday evening and the actual game on Saturday afternoon. Celebrity and former NFL participants include:
