In the wake of Passions being cancelled after
eight years and Guiding Light celebrating its 70th anniversary in 2007,
The Bold and the Beautiful will shoot scenes from a handful of episodes
in Sydney, Australia from February 24-March 2, 2007, Executive Producer
and Head Writer Bradley P. Bell announced today. The scenes will
be broadcast starting with episode 5023, which will air on the CBS
Television Network the week of March 23rd, the anniversary date in 1987
that the series debuted on CBS 20 years ago.
Pending final scripts, it will be announced at a later date which
actors will be involved in the scenes taped in Australia, but Bell is
certain of this: “The scenes will be very romantic, enhanced by the
immense beauty of Sydney Harbor.”
The Bold and the Beautiful producing and directing team traveling to
Australia for the remote includes Executive Producer and Head Writer
Bradley P. Bell, Supervising Producer Rhonda Friedman and Director
Deveney Kelly.
In addition to these special Sydney episodes which celebrate The Bold
and the Beautiful’s 20th Anniversary, the cast and crew will be invited
to celebrate the milestone with a private party on Saturday, March
24th, in an as yet undisclosed location in Beverly Hills. Press will be
invited to cover the red carpet arrivals, so stay tuned to Soapdom for
all the glitz and scoops. Soapdom also congratulates B&B for
