ATWT tapes in Branson. Read with caution, contains scoopage

ATWT castmembersAs The World Turns will go on location to Branson, Missouri on June 6, 7 and 8 to film episodes that will air in July 2007.

In the story, young lovers Gewn and Will Monson (Emmy Award-winner Jennifer Landon and Jesse Lee Soffer) and their friend, Maddie Coleman (Alexandra Chandro) will travel to "The Live Music Show Capital of the World" to further Gwen's musical career.  Gwen's rival, Jade Taylor (Elena Goode) will follow them to Branson to stir up trouble for the trio.  In addition to Landon, Soffer, Chandro and Goode, 21 production and crew members will travel to Branson to film at various locations.  Additional personel will be hired from the Branson area to assist with the shoot.

"We are very excited about this opportunity," said Christopher Goutman, ATWT's executive producer, upon making the announcement.  "Branson will play a really big part in the story. WE want this to be big for both As the World Turns and for Branson."

But having ATWT's head to Branson is just as much a thrill for Branson as it is for ATWT!  "After months of work, Account Executive Ann Reinke will bring this terrific exposure to our community.  We are delighted about the opportunity to present Branson to this audience in an exciting new way," said John Wallen, owner of Concept Marketing, Inc. the company helping to coordinate this event for the city of Branson.  "We are confident that the people of Branson will welcome As the World Turns with open arms. Obviously, we can't disclose the storyline, but we can say that people will be talking about Branson and As the World Turns."
